Ingredients:
4 to 6 green tomatoes,
thickly sliced
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
vegetable oil

Directions:Lightly
beat eggs and milk together. Mix cornmeal, bread crumbs and salt and pepper on
a plate. Put flour on separate plate. Dip tomatoes first in flour, then milk mixture,
then breadcrumbs.
Put 1/2 inch of oil in
pan and heat. Place tomatoes in pan when oil sizzles. When browned, flip tomatoes
over and fry on other side. Drain on towels.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes.
