Preheat oven to 325°F
In a big mixing bowl place the hamburger (make sure your meat is thawed), two
medium eggs, half cup bread crumbs. Add steak sauce, ketchup and barbecue sauce
to taste. And once again add to taste - salt, pepper and garlic powder (I use
just a sprinkle). Mix with your hands. Add, half cup chopped onions and half cup
green peppers and mix (with your hands) until everything is mixed well. To prevent
the meat loaf from sticking to the pan, spray a deep pan (like a square cake pan)
with a non-stick spray. Then place your meat loaf in the pan and shape it the
way you'd like. Pour a layer of ketchup over the top so it covers the whole meat
loaf. Bake for one hour and ten minutes (for a 3 lb. meat loaf-bake for an hour
and forty-five minutes) Half way through the baking time remove the meat loaf
from the oven. Make four to five slices in the meat loaf being careful not to
cut it all the way through. This will allow the meat loaf to cook evenly. Place
the meat loaf back in the oven to finish cooking. You will know it is done when
the middle is brown, not pink or red.
