Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef (lean)
- 2 bottles of spaghetti
sauce
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
(or more if you like)
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 purple onion
- salt, pepper, oregano

Directions:
Brown the ground beef.
When it is done, drain any excess fat by running it under cold water. While the
meat is cooking, dice the peppers, mushrooms, onion, celery and garlic. Add this
to the meat and cook for abount 15 minutes or until the peppers and celery are
tender. Add the spices and the spaghetti sauce and simmer for 30 minutes.
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour
Serving suggestion:
Serve over spaghetti or
mix it with macaroni. Serve with garlic toast. Kids love it!
