Serves 6
Ingredients:
1 16 oz. package
of frozen berries (our favorites are strawberry or raspberry)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp. grated lime peel
1 cup water

Directions: Puree
the berries. Into a medium-size bowl, pour the puree through a fine strainer (you
may need to use the back of a spoon to press all of it through the strainer).
Add the remaining ingredients
and mix well.
Pour mixture into a 9-inch,
freezer-safe pan. Place pan in freezer for at least 4 hours (or until it mixture
is firm).
Transfer to a mixing bowl.
Beat with an electric mixer only until slushy (mix too long and it will thaw).
Return new mixture to
freezer-safe pan and freeze for additional 2 hours or until firm. Then it's ready
to serve.
