I think that we should get our men ready to go into battle because there is no reason for them to crash in our WORLD TRADE CENTER.All those millons of people had no reason to die like this.I feel very sorry for those people that had there mom and dads there .There kids probably don't have a clue that there moms and dads are dead they probably think that there going to come back tomorow. All the firemen died to save all the inosent people.George W. Bush is a strong man and I can trust him into selecting the right thing to do to them. that's what I think about this tradgety. - Matt - Age: 10 - From USA

We should definetly do things to make air travel safer and punish the people who did this, but whatever we do, we should make sure that we don't lose our freedom and our rights as humans. If people restrict freedom, then it isn't freedom anymore is it? - Joanna - Age: 13 - From USA

I think that what the terrorists have done is horryble! But i don't think we should bomb them because we would kill many innocentt pakistanians. If we kill inoccent lives wouldn't we be just as bad as the terrorists??!! If we have 2 we shoul make SURE that we only get rid of the terrorists! :^( :^! - Samantha - Age: 12 - From USA

they should keep benaladdin in jail - Shey - Age: 10 - From USA

I don't know why they would do something like that. It's just sick. I was in school when it happened it was in the afternoon where I live.
the teachers had a confernce when we were at lunch . when i got home my mom whatched the news and we saw them get and colaps to. I'm sorry for what happened. - Jessi - Age: 10 - From CANADA

First you make the airlines more sacure so nothing metal
not even nailclippers beacose they could used as weapon AMERICA WILL STAND!!!!!!!!!!
always & forever. - Maggy - Age: 12 - From EGYPT

I think they should have gaurds at the plane door and inside to protect from terrists (or however you spell it) and they should check the peoples ticket stubs, and if one doesn't they should kick them off the plane. - Marky - Age: 10 - From USA

It's sad when stuff like this happens and I wiss that this never happened. - Emily - Age: 11 - From USA

Why did they do this because they want somthing we have - Alexandra - Age: 9 - From USA

I thnk that if we all stick together we can win. The other day I wrote a report for the newspaper. The title was "Freedom".Most of it was all about Afgahanastan it was about how they dont have freedom but all of us do. I wrote about how I am one of the luckest person in the world just because I have freedom. My dad was the one who put it in the newspaper. He loved it he loved it so much that he started crying. - Tabitha - Age: 12 - From USA

I think that Gorge Bush and America should retalate but not out of revenge but out of justis,if they dont retalate they will bomb or do worst again to America - Woofy - Age: 11 - From AUSTRALIA

I think that the plan was so complicated that hardly anything can be done. I think it is good that loads of securitty has been put up. I can't believe that some one would kill themselves just to kill other people. Its crazy! - Claire - Age: 12 - From UNITED KINGDOM

the parents should more patient - Jennifer wong swee khim - Age: 13 - From MALAYSIA

I think it is awful cos' about 48 of my friends rels (that worked in the trade centers) died because of the stupid terrorists. Only about 16 survived. But I try not to think about it soo I want to say more about the things that happened that day. I think that only Australians can go on Aussie planses and etc. But I also think that because PEOPLE SUFFER BECAUSE OF THIS STUFF we should talk to our teachers about this and ask if we can do activities on this. That was opinion and GOD BLESS US ALL & THE PEOPLE THAT SUFFERED! - Jess - Age: 8 - From AUSTRALIA

I think we should only let pilots that are from the U.S.A. fly our planes and they should have special I.D. cards. We shouldn't let foreigners learn to fly planes in our country. - Mitchell - Age: 10 - From USA

i think that the people on the planes are very mean. i pray for everybody in the towers.i will always rember september 11 2001 because we talked about in school, with one of my favorite teachers. she explained everthing so we could understand better. all of the kids in the room that day was really sad.well i have got to go. god bless - Brooklyn - Age: 10 - From USA

Firat of all I am very sorry for does family's who have someone dead or they do not know what happened to them.
I think that the leaders of each country have to come together and discuss things that are not right. That is the job of there life and I hope they will do it soon. - MariaAngela - Age: 12 - From MALTA

HAVE GAURDS IN AIR PORTS AND PLACES.CAMARAS - ZULEIMA - Age: 11 - From PUERTO RICO

Hi im Arran jade and I feel really sorry for the americans who have lost there loved ones like crystal who has lost her MOTHERI don't know if shes lying I would hate to think she is but anyway I am so sorry. - Arran jade - Age: 13 - From AUSTRALIA

I think that what happened was a big shock not only to America, but to the whole world. This is a world wide tragedy, because not only americans had family in the World Trade Center. People from all over the world did. So we don't just suffer as a nation, we suffer as a world. A lot of people think that we should go to war, but I don't think that we should, because it would just cause more distruction, and more innocent lives would be taken. I think we should try to come to an agreement over this. This is my opinion on this matter. - Kayla - Age: 14 - From USA

First of all, I think what these people have done is terrible. It is evil. Sometimes you can't do anything to stop them, but you can help the people that have been affected by this horrendous tragedy. You can donate money, blood, clothes, etc. to help them. You can help them by relying on GOD and sending your thoughts and prayers to them. - Amanda - Age: 12 - From USA

I think they should increase air safety awareness and secruity.More metal detectors and scanners should be put up at airports. - Clay - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that we should focos on other things besides just air planes (cars,boats,etc.). We should get people in the defence part of our country. - Josh - Age: 12 - From USA

I think we should keep going and don't stop. God blees America! - Angelle - Age: 12 - From USA

I feel sorry on this serious and fatal incidence of great terrorism . - ATHAR - Age: 8 - From PAKISTAN

there should be more surcurity,on places like this, well that(because the world trade centre isn't there any more.)some thing like a radar so that they can/could have been evacuvatted.I am very, very sorry to those who have lost there love ones - Charlotte - Age: 9 - From UNITED KINGDOM

A bill should be passed by the U.N.O.,any person or any country who creats terrorism and shelter the terrorists should be punished.because they both are culprits. He should be totally bycott. Financial aid soukd be stopped.international trade sholud be stopped with such countries. He should taught a lesson that no could dare to do this kind of happening. - Mohit - Age: 12 - From INDIA

The tragic acts of september 11 shall not go unpunished, i think that this world will never have peace, people will fight for sumthing that isnt possible. The world will allways have problems, thats how god intended the world to be like. With out mistakes how shall people learn, most likely these terrorist groups are blood thristy and dont understand how much they hurt families countries and much more. If this happened to them they would care, but they have fun destoring lives of the innocent. There is no point in war even if there is a war i think it will result in nothing. People will still try to out do the terrorists like allways, bombs, explosives just this time planes. This was most likely planed on the USA for a special reason. Sum times Americans and every country can be arrogant and forget they do not owned the world. Sometimes people think they can rule the world. I just pray to heaven that this doesnt result in a rediculus war. thousands, Millions might die For what... for nothing for trying to resolve a problem that will never rest. As long as humans disagree with each other there will allways be problems. Its very horrifing so see what humans can do to each other.
Thank You For reading this of my thoughts! May God Bless Us All and Live in Happiness! - Angel - Age: 13 - From USA

Ithink this was a bad thing that thay did to our country, but who could stop them.I read some of the things that kids had to say,and thay were right.the President said we started war,but all were going to do is knock dwon there buildings and thats only going to make them mader.GOD BLEES AMERICA!Thank you. - Dustin - Age: 9 - From USA

I think that the people who did this are stuborn because they killed millions of people. How would they feel if they died because a plane crashed into the twin towers. So I think the people who did this should learn a valubale lesson about what they did.those people are the dumbest people living alive. This was the most scariest attack I
ever saw.I'm glad I'm still alive.Talk to ya later.Bye-bye. - Polina - Age: 10 - From USA

i think what happened on 9-11-01 was really horrible. I hate war, but this has gone to far. Osama Bin Laden, and other Terrorist groups have been killing our citizens for ages and we never do anything about it. we have to take action and show them that we are not gonna take anylonger. - Elizabeth - Age: 11 - From USA

We should have more inigration rules before letting anyone take pilot lessons they should be interrogated very severly - Leah - Age: 12 - From USA

hi.i'm 10 years old and live in new jersey.what's on everybody's mind is why such stupid people would do such a thing?i was in school the day it happened.we watched it on a little tv.it was terrible to see it happen.it went just about clear through the tower.god bless and god bless america - Alex - Age: 10 - From USA

WELL I THINK WE DO NOT "NEED" WAR.IT'S JUST GONNA GET WORSE.I MEAN SURE THERE ARE A LOT OF INNOCENT PEOPLE DEAD,BUT THE U.S.A HAS STRENGTH.IT'S NOT RIGHT TO FIGHT.WHY FIGHT IF PEOPLE ARE GONNA DIE?FOR EXAPLE:MY FRIENDS UNCLE CALLED MY FRIEND ON SEPT.11.(7:00)YET THEY DO NOT KNOW HE IS.AS IN HE'S DEAD OR NOT.SO MAKE A PERSONS DAY,AND PRAY.THANK YOU. - Alana - Age: 10 - From USA

Hi, i would have to say that this is the most terrible thing that has ever happened to America. But to tell you the truth nothing,or no one can stopthese things from happening,i mean presdent bush or what ever his name is said that america is going to start a war and nock down all their buildings , but what will that do they will just come back to america and knock more and more down and the fight will never stop.YES we did lose a lot of nice people but these things happen , not only workers were in these buildings i mean firemen and police officers So what i am trying to say is if we start a war and knock buildings down this is going to become worse.Thankyou - Kahla - Age: 11 - From AUSTRALIA

I think that we should keep ourselves to our selves and they do the same then if we dont annoy each other there will be know reason to fall out.arslan from "pakistan". - Arslan - Age: 13 - From PAKISTAN

i feel so sorry about the tragedy, - Fifi - Age: 13 - From MALAYSIA

My opinion, world leaders will work together. - PRISCILA - Age: 10 - From BRAZIL

I think Bush sould sit with are the countrys and if they have any problem. They should tell us.Then we might talk it out!!! - Trisha - Age: 12 - From USA

hey, I think that it was TERRIBLE that somebody could do it let alone even think about it makes me sad. I think that they should at least try to reason with them then I think that they should try to hert them as badly as they hert us . When they hit those two trade stations they really hit the hold world and now nobody can stop from thinking about it it is TERRIBLE that is all I have to say.God Bless everyone that died. - Danielle - Age: 10 - From CANADA

i think we should have a separate door that no one can get in to except the piolet and co-piolet for the plane so it cant be hijacked.and i think we are taking this really well and i know we will do the right thing . - Katie - Age: 11 - From USA

We should have more police and other people on guard. We need more world peace. - Danielle - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that since we can't do anything if the plane is in the air.
so, at all the airports there should be high teck meatle didtators and people looking at bags ,and for strange looking people! WE can also be ready when it happens. - Shaye - Age: 11 - From USA

Ithink that it shouldnt start it in the first plase because it woulnt be so hard on the people in New York City and around the USA because some of there family - Rhonda - Age: 11 - From USA

hi

TO STOP THINGS LIKE THIS TO BE HAPPENING EVERY COUNTRY SHOULD NOT INTERFARE IN OTHER COUNTRY'S MATTERS.BIG ONE AND ELDERS ARE TO BE RESPECTIVE TO THEIR YOUNGERS. - Iqra - Age: 11 - From PAKISTAN

I think we has the usa people should help slovoe the problem. People should talk to slove the problem instead of bombing each other to death. Aother thing is people sagrat (im a BAD speller) eachothr and there selfs.People should treat each with kindness I get teasted a lot and it unfair! - Mandy - Age: 11 - From USA

First, I would like to say that no doubt about it peace comes before war, but everyone in the world thinks the opposite. What happened was really saddening I feel sorrow to everyone that died in this horrifying event - Sandra - Age: 12 - From USA

I think that we should stop having wars al together - Danyell - Age: 12 - From USA

I think its wrong when people do these thing. I mean what did the other people who died or got injured do to them. I think we should stop killing people and just help people and protect lives. - Stephanie - Age: 8 - From CANADA

I think that in the airplanes, they should make strong, metal doors and lock them so that nobody can come in the cockpit, take control of the airplane and crash it. - Anup - Age: 9 - From USA

Just as the terrorist have had people here in the US to train for their acts. We should also have our people out there to view what they are doing. War has never been easy, there has always been destruction before Peace. My fear's are that there will be more people hurt, and my future as an athlete and college bound is now headed towards the draft. As the only child it would devestate my mom. She has struggled as a single parent. She tries to be strong, but I know she cries at night, and worries about my future. - Nick - Age: 16 - From USA

First, let me start by saying God Bless America!! It's my country and I love it! The ones responsible for this should be found and punished for their wrong-doing. Yes, I believe in World Peace, and in the USA and other countries we need it. - Keirae - Age: 14 - From USA

i think that we should re-build the buildings and have better escape plans. I think that if that had already been done that thousands of lives would of been saved. i think that from now on we will think before building. And think about the possibale side effects before doing certain things. - Lexy - Age: 12 - From USA

i think it is wrong.I dont know why they did this, but this is wrong. i can imagine the poor kids whos parents didint come home,or the parents that were missing their kids.I heard that this could lead to WWIII. even bush ssaid it MIGHT lead to WWIII. - Aurora - Age: 14 - From CANADA

i dont know about this but i think world peace should happen so no one will be fighting and having wars then all will be friends!!!!!
- Sarah - Age: 11 - From AUSTRALIA

I don't want anything like that to happen again, so I think I'd do almost anything to stop it. I don't want war either, so I guess I'd find out who did that, and tell the government so they could do whatever they wanted to them. If I could make the decision, I'd give the terrorists the death punishment. But, of course, I can't decide, so, we depend on the government. - Amanda - Age: 10 - From USA

I think that we should not give them any goods from the USA and all over the world. - Amy - Age: 10 - From USA

I think that we should at least just try to find out how long have they been planning on doing this and why? I know that they hate america but there has to be another reason why. I mean would they like it if we started to crash planes into their country?, Its just not right. - Stephanie - Age: 10 - From USA

I think people all over the world should come together and have a meeting to try to think of some way they can help.I feel sorry for all the kids that couldn't be picked up from school by their mom or dad, because of this tragic event. As I sat their and watched all that smoke and fire and people screaming and running I felt sorry for them. They could have lost their lives if they were in the part of the building that the plane had hit first.I wish the relitives and friends of people who are lost or by now, dead, the best of luck.GOD BLESS AMERICA. - Meagan - Age: 9 - From USA

I think that we all schould be blessed that we live in the USA.And that we have a wounderful country and we all should be very proud of it.And my heart is with all the people who died or are still missing. And with all the people who are missing or know that a love one has died. I hope everything will be ok. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
love ya alison - Alison - Age: 12 - From USA

Ok well when I saw it first happen on TV i was like what the...? Then the second one crashed and I knew it was not an accident! People say they did it this date b/c of the date 9/11 911? Well they can think that w/e. Ok well I think we should punish them severly! Because do some of YOU people have family members, friends in that rubble at the WTC? If you don't then you don't know how I feel or other people that do so it is very different opinions! I felt angry and sad, i wanted us to bomb them! but that wouldnt solve anything, but i can't ever forgive Afganistan for what they did!!!!! It is so horrible!!!! Well peace-out.... :() - Alysha - Age: 12 - From USA

I've thought about the attack but I never really talked about what they should do. Then it hit me. Why don't we talk it over be resanable not fight some war that can be solved logically. We don't have to bomb countries to get what we want because it is only making matters wose. - Sarah - Age: 13 - From USA

I think we should all stop fighting all the time and get along with everyone of all race ,color, and religion. - Shawna - Age: 8 - From USA

The tragic events have been terrible, but it has only made our country stronger. To stop something similar to this from happening in the future, we need to tighten the security on the United States of America and stop the forces who are responsible by every means. But all we can do now is pray for peace. - Jazzy - Age: 14 - From USA

Improve Airport Security - Lizzy - Age: 10 - From USA

I would just like to say that i have already wrote my opinions about this a few days ago, but i came back to look at what others had said and i saw the message from Carole. Carole, if you are reading this now, i think what you said was really nice coz most people your age just diss kidz stuff and what they say. Thanks Carole! Ur BUZZ!!! - Sophie - Age: 12 - From UNITED KINGDOM

I know it was a really bad thing to happen to the states and president Bush is really annoyed but there is no way we should go to war with Afganistan. If Bush is really worryed he will think of a calmer way to handle this but if we go to war peopkle will get killed and it would destroy the world. It is no good either killing people in Afganistan because they honestly do not know what is goin on. The Tailiban it that country have banned all televisions and radios believeing they are evil so they dont know what is going on. - Linzi - Age: 13 - From UNITED KINGDOM

i am a peace maker but i think we should put them in jail for the rest of ther lives for doing a bbbbbbaaaaaaddddd thing like that i mean all of the bad guys. the world just isnt safe with bad guys just walking around its just not right. and i think we should get all of the ashs and put em in a bbbbbbbbbiiiiiiiiiggggggg grave it could be called the grave of life. - Elijah - Age: 8 - From USA

Well, I would try to stop the people who are killing people who look Musilum. Because they look Muslim dosen't mean they flew the planes into the world trade centers and the pentigon. - Valerie - Age: 10 - From USA

I think we should start having people in jets to keep the president and other inportant stuff safe.America is to frendly and wants to live in peace. But we need to wake up America. So we can save are countrys. - Shelby - Age: 10 - From USA

I think they should have better security to check the bags and luggage when people go on planes. Before this happened, people were aloud to bring knifes on planes, but the knife had to be under 4 inches. I think that was a really stupid rule, because, you never know what that person was going to do with it. On last Friday night at 7:00pm, we were supposed to put candles out ouside. My whole street did and we were standing on my porch. I hope everyone did that because it really showed me that America can get over this terrible tragedy. I hope that we capture this guy who we think did this cause he has done some many other things to America. I live in New Jersey and I was at school while this whole thing was happening. I was shocked and I almost cried because they are still looking for all of those people under the rubble. The bad news is that I don't think that they will find anymore people from this tragedy! I know we can get through this and I give all of my hope to the families that lost so many!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Stacy - Age: 12 - From USA

I think this war is scaring everybody, but like the president
siad We're at war.I wonder who would kill inasent people.Who ever
did this is wrong. They can laugh all they whant but they're still
wrong. - Angela - Age: 10 - From USA

I think that to stop this from happening we should prove to the terrarists that we are strong and pull through this.We should also find who did this and punish them. - Dana leclaire - Age: 12 - From USA

I think our preistent needs to find out who did this.I wishthey didn't put it on the T.V. so much because I have dreams about a war.Plus,my dad will be on the recall list if there is a war that happens.I will pray for all those loved ones lost.

I really don't KNOW exactly what should be done to prevent such catastrophe from ever occuring again, but I do think I know what definitely SHOULDN'T be done -- we SHOULD NOT have a war, we SHOULD NOT go to war! I don't see what a war at this moment could accomplish... would it not only serve to increase anti-US sentiments in the Middle East? Anti-Middle East sentiments would also escalate in the US and other European countries. I can't say this act of terrorism will be able to be settled out of war, but I definitely think that it WILL NOT be able to be settled in war either. It will only lead to the deaths of more innocent people and OUR economy and environment will suffer too. Our economy's always been fine... as compared to in Afghanistan etc... think about it this way, we'll be the ones losing out!
Well, I've got a twin called Keagan, 6 and 3 year-old brothers Kieran and Kyle and my Mom's eight months pregnant with our first baby sister. She's gonna give birth soon but my Dad's not back yet 'cos he's in New York! And he was working in the WTC South Tower at the time of the attack!! Well, you just go and figure that out yourself... I don't see where this world of ours is going, anyway. - Keanu - Age: 11 - From SINGAPORE

I am so sorry that this has happened. I feel that we should pray for the families and friends of those who have died and for the firefighters and police and all the volunteers who are helping to make things better. God bless President Bush, and all his politicians to help us find those responsible. I hope that whoever did this is sorry too. I just want to ask, "why?". Why would anyone want to kill innocent people and themselves. Are you that miserable that you have to hurt other people. I hope that God is looking over those people right now and will make them turn themselves over so that justice can be served. GOD BLESS AMERICA and all those that live in it and around the world. PEACE! - Kathy - Age: 11 - From USA

Iwould try to stop who's bombing the buldings and make them share the conseqences by sending them to jail for 1000 years. - Amber - Age: 8 - From USA

I think that President Bush needs to finish building the coalition and hunt down these terrorists and punish them the way suitable. There is really no other country in the world that you here of that has as much fighting then the Holy Lands. All I here is of terrorist attacks going on from Afganistan, really. After that maybe the world will be a little mors at peace. But humans will always be the only ones who kill there kind, but if we can stop all this terrorism, then maybe we can stop wars all togeather! All this points to one person, Osama Bin Laden!
God Bless America AND KEEP US ALL SAFE! - Chantal - Age: 14 - From CANADA

First of all, I am not 16, I'm 18. I just think that I have a right to put my opinion on here also although I am not cnsidered a "kid" to this sight. I find that everyone who has written their opinion on this sight is being very thoughtful and I can't believe how mature some of these people are even though a lot of them are quite young. Anyway, I don't think it is right at all to start hating people that live in the U.S. who look like Middle Eastern people and start hurting them. People are reacting to this tragedy in a wrong fashion. They should just take the time and let the government take action. If some people want to sign up for the military right now, that's fine with me. Let the military handle everything. But don't go out and start fighting with other people who don't look like you. Also, many people are donating their blood to help the victims. Why couldn't all those people who are donating blood now do so before this tragedy? Everyday people are in horrible accidents or go through surgery and need blood. People should always donate blood like they are now. Why is it that whenever a huge tragedy comes on, do people start to show that they care? They should act like this all the time. It would help out a lot of people. Please pray for everyone that has been affected by this and those who will be affected by this. May God look out for everybody! - Carole - Age: 16 - From USA

I think that the U.S.A. has to be more careful about who they let in to this country.I live in New York about 23 miles away from Manhattan.I could smell the smoke when I am standing next to my house. And I found burned papers on my block from the World Trade Center. - Levi - Age: 9 - From USA

I think what happened was a terrible thing. Those terrorists took from all of those poor and innocent people what no one has the right to take, life. It was something that never should have happened to anyone, event the nastiest of people. No one deserves a fate like that. I feel that the person responsible for this shouldn't just be brought to justice but he himself killed too. I know it sounds like a horrible thing but it's the truth. For the sick person that did this I feel bad for you. Why? Because I feel for someone so sick and evil. Having a heart full of hate and no sole should be pitied. I just wish youd value having a the earth, not try to conquer it. Also, the recent anger too anyone who is Indian, Palistian or what have you is wrong. Those people are relising all of the things they may have been taught in there country is wrong, and also that we should be more conserned with the people that did this instead of the people of the same race. As I beleive everything happense for a reason.Thats all I have to say.
- Jerry - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that we really need to take desperate measures to prevent what has happened to us from happening again. Think, whoever did this used OUR own planes, and they took piloting lessons in OUR country. This means that we must be too lax on something, whatever it may be. There should be more backround checks, and we really should be making security tighter, and I'm glad to see we're doing that in airports already. I also think that we need to act strongly on who did this. We need to get them back for killing so many innocent people. thousands of innocent lives? We've been a very kind, caring, and neutral country for a way too long time. Now we must be strong, fight for what's right, and prove that we truly are the strongest nation. Some people think revenge is a horrible thing, but in my opinion, revenge fits this scenario perfectly. If we don't take a life for a life (more like thousands of lives) who knows what this terrorist will do next? We can't let somebody like this slip through our fingers, it's too dangerous, and I, for one, think this person doesn't deserve to keep on living. But, I can't help but feel bad for someone who is this sick, someone who is this angry, this sad, someone with no soul. Seeing someone like this can hurt, because you wish they could only feel joy in something other than another's pain. Well, anyway, I am basically just saying that this person's life should be taken just like so many of our own lives have been taken. I pray for the families of this tragedy every day, and I am always thinking of them. Keep up faith, because if we just remain strong, we will make it through this together. God Bless America. :) - Holly - Age: 14 - From USA

i really don't know what we should do but i do know what we shouldn't do.ok they hijacked USA planes and crashed them into the world trade center and other but we shouldn't go and start bombing or prosucute bin ladin and get him killedbecause then he would just me a martr. but if we did that then we would just be like them .and i think we meaning the USA are more superior then bin ladin. because we don't go bombing other countrys cause we don't like them.if bin ladin had a probelm he should of discussed it with us first and then this may not of happened but we shouldn't get in a war over this we should just inprove our security in ever thing so this can't happen again.Cause i mean we don't want to be like them we and to do what is right.even though some think different .GOD BLESS AMERICA LAND THAT I LOVE STAND BE SIDE HER AND GUIDE HER THOUGH THE NIGHT WITH A LIGHT FROM ABOVE. GOD BLESS AMERICA MY HOME SWEET HOME - Laure - Age: 12 - From USA

I have a different opinion about what happened. I think that this was a tragedy that we could have prevented. But I also think that this attack was good in a way. It brought the country back together. After a while, nothing much was going on in the USA so we got a little more relaxed, slowed down the guard, and didn't have as much security. But after this, the country has been brought together and the United States Government who could not decide on one single thing are all behind the President. There are people showing their patriotism by carrying flags, putting up flags and wearing red, white, and blu. I feel that this incident has actually brought our country back together. - Emily - Age: 13 - From USA

We need to treat each other like we want to be treated. - Madeleine - Age: 5 - From USA

Well, I don't think that war will EVER make peace, but these terrorests are very clever, Osama bin Laden is. Bush has said that, most likely, we will eventually bomb them. I think maybe we should advance OUR cleverness, and take higher security. Osama bin Laden will be surprised, and hopefully 'lay off.'
If something like that, if i lost my mother, i would be devistated and very angry, and i am, but I'm sure I'm not as angry as the victems and polititians. We should show our patriotism, which i have and still am, and look at this, look at what's happened. Don't walk away, and it is sad, but if we just walk away, what will we learn from this? Nothing, so raise your flags! And pray to God, or whoever your religios leader is, for the victems of the World Trade Center and Pentagon. And, God bless America! Let Freedom ring! - Rachel - Age: 13 - From USA

I am very happy that the airports are being more secure, but in my town the airport in the restaurant they are giving out knifes any more and people without a ticket can not go past the security. So I think that is a bad choice and people are not going to be very happy about that. WE NEED TO GET THEM BACK FOR ALL THE INNOCENT PEOPLE EWHO THEY KILLED. HE IS AN EVIL PERSON. - Danna - Age: 12 - From USA

I think what would have helped in the first place was not to let the Pakistanies in to Canada, because some of the people that came from the Middle East came from Canada. This isn't an attack,it's a war. It is a war that is going to break out on innocent people. Lots of people, will die. And you ask now,'what should be done to stop this?' Prayer. It's simple. Prayer can change a world. Try it people, pray. - Lindsay - Age: 12 - From CANADA

I think that who ever did this has taken alot of innocent people's life's away but then again they are taking revenge for something they obviously don't do it for fun because a terrorist is a person that has lost his home and he wants to do something for revenge! I think the people who did this are very millichious,to do such a horrible act against the USA. I can't stand it that the people I saw on TV were even able to celeberate the sight of they had done,it is horrible to see that people could even do such a thing as this. hey you all,
well, i feel really bad for everybody, who was affected, not just for those who died, but for the family, friends, and all the loved ones left behind. I know it's easy just to say do this, do that, but we couldn't have prevented all this from happening. I think that we should be happy at least that we are still here on this earth, and definetly pray forn all those who died, but at least be thankful for what we still have. We should be thankful for each and every single day we have, because we never know when our life, will be cut short. I believe, we should try to live each day to the fullest, tell everyone that we love, that we love them, and be happy for each day we have on this earth. As for america, i know we will, find these cold hearted people, and that we will have the justice and freedom again. I'm sure, that the air ports will have better security, and find more ways to prevent something like this happening again, not just for america, but for the world. I think that this world, should be thankful that we are still here, and pray for all of those that are gone. And, even if you don't believe in God, then at least, just be happy you're alive today, and try to live each day to its fullest. All I can say is, this world will have better justice, and freedom, not just america, but everyone who is affected by this, and for everyone who cares.
God bless you all,
not just america,
but the world. - Sarah - Age: 13 - From USA

I think that people should cooperate together. If people can't get what they want then we should agree to something that suits everybody.Everyone needs to stop fighting and come together as a world. Two of the biggest buldings and a number of people got destroyed because people were not getting what they wanted.Everybody needs to stop this nonsense and get along. Please stop. - Heather - Age: 10 - From USA

it shouldn't have taken a tragedy like this to make american's come together...we should always come together as a nation and stand STRONG as we are trying today.... GOD BLESS! - Hannah - Age: 11 - From USA

well to start off we shouldn't hate these people..we should only dislike them. hate is too strong and hate is what started this! we will only be like them if we start to hate. i understand how angry and sad all of you are. i am too. the best thing to be done is to understand and not hate but dislike.... - HANNAh - Age: 11 - From USA

I am not sure, I know two wrongs don't make a right, but I also know, if we don't do anything, then this will happen again. But if we attack a country, then more countries will attack us, then more innocent poeple will die. - Sara - Age: 14 - From USA

Now for the answer to the question. I think that we should do what is being done over in Isreal. Over in Isreal they have at least two people armed with machine guns on every flight. I know it is a kind of a bad thing to do, but it is the only way that I think we could do. No one should be allowed to bring their personal car to the airport's parking lot, because anyone could put a bomb in there. Instead of personal cars in the airport parking lot, there should be a whole differant place where people can put their car and then they have to wait for a bus to come along that will bring them to the airport's main enterance. On each bus that transfers people from the parking lot to the main enterance there should be at least one person on there armed(just in case).
That's what I think should be done! - Ashley - Age: 13 - From USA

I think our government should find out who did this to us & punish them only, not the whole country because that could start a war. A war would cause more innocent people to die and that would make God sad with us. - Nicholas - Age: 8 - From USA

Hello people. This week America's attack killed thousands of people, injured thousands of people, and even now, some people still don't know weather they've lost a loved one. It's scary, sad, and it's a tragedy. Terrorisme is wrong, and whoever decided to attack America is wrong, Terrorisme won't take awy the freedom of America, it's just not right. I pray for those who have died, God Bless them.and GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! - Sarah - Age: 13 - From CANADA

I think that the people who destroyed the most beautiful thing in NYC, should be punish for what they did. i've been to New york so many times, that i can picture the whole state in my mind (well, I can only picture the parts that i've seen.) Me & my family mnight be going up to NYC for a family visit. if we do go up there, it wont feel like NYC anymore. It won't look like NYC anymore. It already sunk into me, but not as much as it will the next time i see the City. GOD BLESS ALL & BE PROUD TO BE AMERICANS. - Erin - Age: 10 - From USA

i think that everyone in the usa should and can be strong. things as big as this will effect people deeply, and we need to be there for each other. my prayers go out to al families in great heartache. R.I.P
to all lost loved ones. - Hannah - Age: 13 - From USA

We think that what was done was wrong and pointless, but we think it would be even more pointless to kill innocent people who weren't behind the terrorist. We know what was done was wrong, but fighting back would make us just as wrong. We also know that something does have to be done, to keep our Country safe and strong, but couldn’t we find another way to punish them without having to do to them what they did to us? Adults need to be mature and care more about saving lives then getting revenge. Adults need to think about other people, think about who they are killing, mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, brothers, sisters, family’s, and friends. If you have a problem solve it, but don't let people's lives get in the way. You don't always get what you want, even children like us understand that, why can't adults?
We pray for the innocent lives that were lost and innocent lives that may be lost, and we hope to God that we can come together as a nation and rebuild our sense of unity. It is important especially at this time to remain as one helping one another. We also pray for peace, for happiness, and for solidarity. We pray for the terrorists and that they can see the wrong in their ways and we pray for the innocent in their country and that their lives may be spared.
May God bless us all in this time of need. We love you all and we wish you the best.
Amen - Ki and La - Age: 14 - From USA

i have deepest sypathy for those in New York , but America is strong and America has a heart that never can be broken but as bad things come along America can lose its trust in some people but in some it is still there. - Natascha - Age: 10 - From UNITED KINGDOM

My feelings towards all of this is war has already started. I think that Bin Laden should pay for this. So that there would be no more terrorist attacks from him or his followers. Also, I think we should do something about this so they won't think we are cowards, and so that we make them think that were not afraid to fight for our freedom,or rights,or anything else. Bin Laden's group has come over here and broke our terrorist laws. So they need to be punished for that. I also feel for the families of the people who died in the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and on the aircrafts. - Danielle - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that we should not do anything to them because they will probably do more things to us! Tons of people died becase of those pepole. When we find those peole we need to do something really bad to them, for doing this. That is what i think ! And if they keep doing this to us then MAYBE, we can do something to thier country - Krista - Age: 10 - From USA

I just wish that someone could say to the world, " right, all wars stop NOW!!" and then everyone could make peace, but altough this would be gr8, i don't think it will ever happen. I think that people should be saving america even if they don't live there. People are all the same. I understand that america is triing to boss the world and I think that's the reason for the attack. I think that kids can actully save america by sending in songs poatry and other things like that and them to the prestident of america with a letter saying " Please put these on full blast on a really big boombox untill the attackers hear it. They might stop." - Leah - Age: 9 - From CANADA

I've already entered one of my of my opinions, but I have another one. I COMPLETELY understand that all of you are mad and might have lost someone close, I almost did, too, but we shouldn't go to war. In the first place, war is wrong, it's only worsening the problem. And you all say bless the people who have lost loved ones; you're not thinking about people like me, that live on the Air FOrce Base ( in Nevada). When we go to war, it's going to be MY dad fighting, and I don't want to lose him. I don't mean to sound disrespectful to America, because that's the last thing I am, I'm just saying put yourself in my shoes. I'm at risk of losing a parent, not to mention all my friends, also. So if you're willing to let your parents go to war, that's great, but think of all the people we'll lose again. God bless. - Danielle - Age: 14 - From USA

I think that the terroist are just trying to have attienttion. Or my teacher said that the people working for Bin Laden (the person who they think helped plan and do it.)can't back out of it so they know they are going to die because if they try and back out he will just kill them. But my school is helping the National FireFighter Fund. Our middle School collected 2000.00 dollars so far. Now my friends have started to help out to. I think we should show are American pride and help out. - Kristin - Age: 11 - From USA

I was so scared of what was going to happen to my uncle who drives the A train right under the WTC & he was alright, & a very distant cousin was a firefighter & was killed in Tower 2 when it collapsed. I was also worried about my moms friends, my dads friends, & my aunt who didn't go into work that day 'cause she had a doctors appointment.
I remember going to the observation deck where you could truly see the whole world. I also remember traveling through the WTC to get to the Yankees World series parade in '96. My mom was still working in lower manhattan. my whole family said that thank God that she doesn't work there anymore.God bless America, Freedom Rules & God bless all Americans & everyone on their side. - Erin - Age: 10 - From USA

I think that people should go to New York from all around the world to volunteer in searching the rubble for victims. And also I think it would be a good idea that from now on, annually, there should be a "Peace Day" every September 11th. Sincerely, David - David - Age: 9 - From USA

i think that we should all pray that the terrorist don't come back i first found out about this tradegy at lunch time on tuesday when they said that soccer and play practice was canceled i soon after school relized the horrer of this situation president bush will help us and we will hold up he quoted this verse "yea though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i will fear know evil" Psalm 32:4a

They are going to get them anyways no matter what happeneds. It is just Dumb. If everybody got along the world would be happy. What is this world comeing to? It's crazy!!!!!!! Hello,
I for one believe the first step to be taken is mourning. Stop! Don't think about killing now, now is a time to stop and pray for those who have lost their lives and those who have lost family and friends. Pray and hope the best for those in New York, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania. Next step we must take is a step to help those in need. Donate blood, money, and anything else possible. Trying our hardest is all we can do. Third step is justice. We need to track down those responsible for this tragic deed and punish them accordingly. This is a time that America needs to stand together. Remember "United we are strong! United we will win!" God Bless America and all her people. Give our President the strength he needs to bring this country through these horrible times. - Brittany - Age: 13 - From USA

I think that America should be strong and won't let this effect the way they believe think and act.Yeah this is very tragic but the Americans should say I am proud to be an American and know body not even terrorist can take that belief away.Even though I am not an American,I think that the Americans can,no,will be strong and make it through this hard time. - Sheesha - Age: 12 - From PHILIPPINES

First, every country should think this, "Do we want wars? Do we want our people to die? Do we want to achieve peace? Do we want things to be happy and peaceful, or sad and full of death?" Then they should say, "We want to achieve peace! We don't want so many people to die! We want to do the right thing, even if we don't like some countries that much!" Then they should form a World Peace Orginization to help people stop wars, fight against terrorists, etc. If everyone knew God's will then there would be peace everywhere! - Jim - Age: 11 - From USA

I think what has happened to us is bad we should make the people who did this pay. - Courtney - Age: 11 - From USA

I think now that we all know the power of being an American, we can all contribute to a feeling of patriotism and love for those who need it. We are all human beings, and we will rise out of this tragedy successful. - Stephie - Age: 16 - From USA

It seems that everyone is saying lets do something to the people who did this horrible thing but I have always thought that when something bad happens one should try to figure out why it happened and fix that problem so it wont happen again. I have been watching the news and it seems to me that the people that did this are angry cause the USA goverment is the Middle East Countries trying to protect our own interest. If all it takes is to leave the Middle East alone so this wont happen again then maybe that is what we should do. It may not be easy to do but if it can save more lives in the days and years to come then it is worth it! God Bless all of us in this time of need. - X - Age: 16 - From USA

I think that the Airports should have had better security so they would have stoped this from happening. - Lauren - Age: 10 - From USA

What is our safe usa, coming 2? why are peeps so crazy / god bless - Ally - Age: 16 - From USA

the goverment should try to understand why it was done and fix that reason so it want happen again. - Xavier - Age: 16 - From USA

I think that the world leaders should think about what they are goin' to do. After all this could triger WW3. We need to pray fo the people all over who have lost loved ones. We need to donate stuff. The terroists need to be punished for what they have done. I think that we need come closer in this time of tragity. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND THOSE WHO HAVE LOST LOVED ONES!!!!!!! - Tyler - Age: 12 - From USA

My goodness. I have read some of your opinions and all you care about is killing the Arabs. Well, I think one thing that should be done, and is possible is to donate blood. I am from Canada, and my Prime Minister, Jean Chretien, has set up blood banks for everyone to donate blood for the injured victims that are now in the hospital. Another thing we can do is pray for the victims and the loss of their life. They've all gone to a better place now, and it is much better than suffering and suffocating in the buildings full of smoke. I, myself have been to NYC, and I think it's beautiful. I couldn't believe what happened when my school principal announced the tragic incident. I believe that their main target was the White House, not the Pentagon. The White House could be able to kill the President and everyone in it, but fortunately Mr. Bush was safe. I think he is a great president, and that he's doing all that he can to help you. Manhattan is a beautiful place, and it will continue to be beautiful.

God bless
Michelle. - Michelle - Age: 12 - From CANADA

A day of Peace is what is needed Around the world ! - Javier - Age: 16 - From USA

We think that the people who sent the hijackers should be punished. We think that they cannot make a war because there will be more violence and more dead people. We hope they don't crash any more buildings. We think that those buildings need to be built again. We all feel sad about the kids and the families.
We love New York! - Cruz - Age: 9 - From USA

dear, America

you shoud put some FBI agents on all planes and make other peple take a test, to let them get on the plane so you know what people get on the plane for and where they are going so America is safer and more responsible for the people that live here in America. - Jay - Age: 12 - From USA

This is all too much for us kids to understand. There are things that we dont understand like why would any group of people have so much hatred for us to kill so many innocent people. We see the horrific pictures on the television, and all we can think about is how sad all of this is. I know that I am fortunate enough to see my family every day. I just pray for those who are unable to now because of this tradegy. - Jennifer Albright - Age: 16 - From USA

Dear U.S.A. Im sorry for what happen to those building's.I hope you can find the rest of the people and their poor lifes. They woke up to get ready for work and they went to work and they never seen it comming.I am so sorry ...when I watched it on televation I started busting out with tears thats how sorry I am.I hope you can rebuild those building's and start over agian.Let GOD be with those inasent lifes of those wounderful people. I want to say a little prayer ...DEAR GOD PLEASE DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN AGIAN WE ARE SORRY FOR WHAT WE HAVE DONE PLEASE FORGIVE OUR SINS FOREVER... - DanielleBarton - Age: 10 - From USA

This is shocking to all of us and it might be a little hard for us, but we should show our pride in America. Go out and buy some flags (big or small) and put them py the door to your house, mailbox, driveway, or anywhere else. This will show them that we keep are pride in our country. - Chandra - Age: 11 - From USA

This should never happen again,it just shows how easy it really is to hijak as plane and kill thousands of inoccent people, trhere should be miuch better security at the airports and we sould all try to help in what ever little way we can the people suffered during this tradegy and I think that the FBI will catch the people responsible for this and then justice will do the rest.
I send my support to all the familys that lost freinds and family and I hope that justice can soon be served. - Sara - Age: 12 - From IRELAND

My deepest sympathies to everyone who was affected by the terrible catastrophe in New York. :( This awful event took a lot of lives, and, sadly, I'm quite sure something big'll come out of this... For now, lets pray for the people who lost a loved one or were injured, and for world peace... Amen..... - Alyssa - Age: 12 - From UNITED KINGDOM

There is always a way around violence when it comes to situations like this. Many people, including myself, felt that a quick act of retaliation against the country responsible would solve our problems. But this is the wrong way to think. What we don't need is a war. Wars crush the dreams of the young and change parents' lives forever. There would be a draft if full-scale war broke out, and I'm afraid that many of us guys have wild dreams of being a hero for our country when we know nothing at all of war and its bitter reality. We need to focus just on the people responsible, and leave whatever country they're in out of it. Everyone's lives changed Tuesday, but that doesn't mean we should destroy ourselves. - Dave - Age: 16 - From USA

Everyone is shocked and surprized! How will out future turn out to be? Will it be with peace or will it be in war. Was this a wake up call for people to think before they act and to do things differently? These people didnt have to die. They didnt deserve it. How will these kids that dont understand why this happened grow up. They might feel unsafe and they might not be satisfied with the way things went, but we will fight this and come through and build those buildings even taller!!!! we should not feel scared or threatened by anyone! We should all stand as one, stand for our country and support it! God rest the sould of the ones who parished in the WTC in peace! We will all prey for the ones who died, their families, the ones who are recovering and everyone involved in the WTC. God Bless America!!!! - Melina - Age: 14 - From USA

I'm saddened today over the tragedy in New York. My thoughts and prayers are with the people that live there and the ones that have died. I think that justice must be done because innocent people were killed. I maybe just a kid, but I feel the pain. GOD BLESS THE USA!!!! - Ashley - Age: 10 - From USA

I think we should bomb back. I fell so sorry for all the people that have lost family or friends. I have been praying hard. I will rember this. I think they should change some stuff like put hidden camras on planes. How did they get in the planes is what I would like to know. hope President George Bush makes the right choise I am praying for him too. - Angela - Age: 10 - From USA

you should from now on have some volenters of the police on each plane. save america!!!!!!!!!!
- Mark - Age: 10 - From AUSTRALIA

dear america,
i hope you can get through your moment of peril. - Mark - Age: 10 - From AUSTRALIA

I think it is terrible i cant belive this the us is crumbeling beneath us, the pentagon the trade centers and all of the other buildings in new york! we have to do someting about this, FAST!!! - Bella - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that the plane crashing into the World Trade Center, and the other plane crashing into the Pentagon, are just two HORRIBLE tragic things. I think that the USA isn't the same as it was a few days ago. I also think that it's extremly sad because thousands of kids are orphens in the world right now, because their parents were killed. I hope that they find these cowards who have done this terrible thing, and I hope they punish them good. I know that our country is strong, and that we won't let this change anything. God bless America. - Anna - Age: 12 - From USA

The way that I feel, There will be war. Because this country won't let these people get away with the crime they committed and the lives they took. Sure the buildings can be replaced but the people that died can't and won't come back. The thing that I want to know but won't and never will know is: Why? What did we do? How did we deserve this? I know this is not the end, and more people are going to lose they're lives. But know all we can do is pray and hope for the best. LET'S STAND BY OUR COUNTRY. - Emily - Age: 14 - From USA

How could this happen, on such a peaceful morning. The most sickning part of it all was that it wasn't like the Terrist were wanting to hurt spacific people, they just crashed into anything, killing all life and not even caring. They have been here in our country knowing all along what was going to happen on 9-11. For that I hope that President Bush finds those all involved and puts them through 3X the pain and saddness that we all Americans have felt here. We are all flesh and blood. Gods creation, why would we hurt each other and have so little respect for human life? Thanks to all that support the USA, we really need it at this moment! God bless you and God Please bless our beloved AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Chandler - Age: 10 - From USA

well i hope that every world leader should join the the usa and make sure no one should attack the world like we will stop every torrorist attack! - Connor - Age: 9 - From USA

I think that none of this could have been stopped.I think those
terrorists have obviously been planning this for a long time.
I feel awful that it happened,I could have cried when I heard what happened.I know I'm Canadian but we Canadians feel awful for the Americans.I still can't believe what happened I keep on wishing that
I can just wake up from this bad dream.
I hope the USA captures and punishes the people that had something to do with it. - Elizabeth - Age: 12 - From CANADA

I think this was a horrible thing to do! These terrorists killed thousands of INNOCENT people! Even though I'm lyke really scared I think the Us should do something about this! I heard a really inspiring thing on tv and it went "Our flag is red white and blue and those colors will never fadE. I hope those words inspire u 2! g2g bye! - Lauren - Age: 13 - From USA

I think that the people who smached two airplanes to that tower
should feel the pain of all those people who are hurt and many
have died.I think that could start a big war.And that the people who think that it's funny well it's not.I think that the people who are
doing it should stop.I don't want any more people to die. - Aryam - Age: 9 - From PUERTO RICO

well i just want to say i was scared that tuesday morning.i really
didn't know what was going on at first, but now i know and it's
not a good feeling!i live here in N.C and there is a lot of people
that feels sadness, and i think that they should feel the same.
and "GOD BLESS AMERICA" and i am so proud to be an AMERICAN and no
one is going to take away our freedom because our flag is steal there! - Ashleigh - Age: 10 - From USA

First I want to say this is all very horrible. My heart goes out to the victims. Someone said early its a culture? I don't know that culture is the right word for it. I have heard stories where people are beating up and hurting people, who live in america, because they are muslim or of another nationality. These people don't deserve this just as we didn't deserve what has happened to us. The people who did this and can do this to people are sick and horrible people and should be considered just that. Not all people of that "culture" or nationality are like that. Americans have sick and horrible people too like the Oklahoma City Bomber. Lets not look at the person's culture and say they are all like that because its not true. Just as I, an american, am not like the Oklahom City Bomber. With Ignorance comes hate, don't be ignorant - Julie - Age: 15 - From USA

Just recently, investigators found out that a group of people from Afganistan caused this massacre. I agree with Katie. The U.S. has been very harsh towards the Middle-Eastern countries. I must admit what happened to the World Trade Center and the Pentagon should not have happened. It was a very cruel way to get back at the U.S., because so many innocent souls were tooken that day. The U.S. should find peace with the other countries that are mad at them. It's going to get very ugly if peace isn't found. The U.S. should step up. - Chrissie - Age: 16 - From USA

I would train people to be very good. I would tell the police if they would do it again to arrest them and to put them in jail for 12 years. I'm afraid the bad guy might see this or else I would tell more. - Katelyn - Age: 7 - From USA

If I was a security guard or a police man and I saw the bad guys, I would arrest him and let him stay in jail for 10 years. And if he is still bad I would make that 20 more years. - Steven - Age: 9 - From USA

On,Tuesday we were attacked by terriorests and we lost our World Trade Center buildings.I fell that who ever did this need to be punished. We are going to have to go to war because someone doesnt like America. Now that we all think it is Bin Ladin he needs to be found and punished.Last year he went public and said that he didnt like America, and that we are all going to die because he will kill us all and then rule America one day.I feel that it will never happen because we have such a strong government that if it was to happen the chances are slim to none.America is so very strong. We have talked about this at school for the past few days our lives may never be the same but we will always hold this in our hearts life is to valuable to waste and alot of people have lost that. This people need to be shown what has happened. My prayers go out ot you all and i hope you can some day recover. For all that lost a life GOD bless you ALL!!!! - Crystalle - Age: 13 - From USA

I think what the terriorists did is totally horrible. When I first heard the news my feeling were mad and shaken up and crying histerically.I knew people that worked in the world trade center and I was there 2 times . My friend is still missing. I hope that evryone will PRAY for there friends and loved noes. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND EVERYONE WHO WORKEDTHERE OR IN THE PENTEGON. This was a definatly a wrong decision! - Amanda - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that we all should pray more. You can't go wrong with praying and I think that the more praying that we do the more better this world is going to be. I want to sart off by praying for everyone who is suffring because of this terrible thing that has happened. - Julia - Age: 14 - From USA

I can't beleive that someone would do something so tragic. I was worrying about all of my problems but what about the people who lost loved ones, or what about the people who lost their lives. I think it's horrible how some people don't care. I cry every time I hear the new version of the song 'God Bless America'. I think that all we can really do is pray and hope because if we start a war, even more innocent people will die. - Sadie - Age: 12 - From USA

i think that the people who did this should feel the same pain that the AMERICAN families are feeling right now...all the hurt and suffering that happened on Tuesday September 11 2001 was not call for. these people that did this should suffer a great deal. I am not american but i feel the pain they are feeling there isn't a night i don't go to bed with out thinking about them and praying for them hoping that many of them survived the tragic moment. i know that the americans are people and they can pull through anything. but the people that did this they are COWARDS and cowards are folish people. all my love goes out to the Americans. i wish them the very best and i hope they can get back on there feet and live life as god had plan. lots of love for all of us here in Canada. GOD BLESS AMERICA. they are the strongest of the strong and the best of the best.
GOD BLESS - Melisseia - Age: 16 - From CANADA

If these people think that smashing two planes into the Trade Center will solve their problems, then whatever part of the world they are from is probably a big mess if they think solutions like that are good ones.
I would hate to live there and I would hate to have these people as my neighbors. I think aliens from outer space are more human than these people. I think my dog would be a better human being. At least she doesn't try to hurt anyone.
And for you AMERICANS... just to let you know, my parents, and my friends parents are giving blood for New York. They went today to give blood. My father was sad and angry all day Tuesday and my mom cried. They wanted to do something. I want to do something too but I don't know what.
I hope you never get hurt like this again. - Austin - Age: 15 - From CANADA

helllo every one the bombing in the usa shattered everyones heart the people in america did nothinng to deserve this when i woke up om tuesday morn and switched on the tv i thought i was watching a movie until the news reporters came on television and i saw the horor on the peoples faces i could tell it was not an act america and canada are 2 me ussully the luckyst countrys in the world and when i saw and saw that awful nightmair i thougt about the kids in america and them knowing that the people thay love was not comming home i started to cry and wall inm righting this im crying i love america canada loves u and im proud of canada 4 what there doing usa should not drop a boumd on the country that disd this to the usa thay should not kill the innicent people in that country some people did not think this was right usa knows this will not end without war so y did world war 3 half 2 come so soon independens day is back pearl harbor has moved to usa so forget what i just said FIGHT USA DONT STOP TILLL U WIN BECAUSE THE USA IS THE MOST POWERFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD AND THAT COUNTRY THAT BLUE U UP SAYS BRING IT ON - Krystal - Age: 12 - From CANADA

I dont think that we should half 2 make world peace because it is not right that we do not have world peace but i guess it doesnt mattter whats right anymore . 2make world peace i yhink we should get each rooler of each country in one big room and then thay can talk like grown ups and sort out there diffrences its not right that the world does not right that the woorld cant get along and 4 all the people in the usa i give all my blessings i live in canada and the usa and canada get along goood and im glade because i like the usa and 2 see us fight its not fair the airplain thing that went on yestarday in the usa the twin towers so that is just so awful and im glade that i live in canada because in proud of canada it helped usa so world peace should not half 2 stop cause it should not have started in the first place thank u 4 reading this and if ur from or live in the usa i prayed 4 u hope every thing workes 4 the best krystal moncton nb canada thanks - Krystal - Age: 12 - From CANADA

Katie The USA didn't do a thing to the people of the middle east except make friends with Isreal!!! The people of that region hate Isreal and want to destroy all that they live for including there lives and they hate us for helping Isreal. Thats all we have done The USA has tried to be a friend to everyone. - Bill - Age: 13 - From USA

I think that everyone has the wrong idea of what should be done, to stop things like this from happening, again. What I think should be done, is nothing, because if the U.S.A goes over their, and attacks whoever committed this terrible act, then they'll come back over here, and commit another terriost act, and who knows it might even be alot worse, net time. The violence will never stop, it'll just keep going on,and on. If we go to war, then children will loose their father's, and even more children will be left without parents. So I think President Bush needs, to leave well enough alone. I do not think the, terriost just did this act out of evil, I think someone in the USA, just messed with the wrong, people this time, and they did not like it. - Moneesha - Age: 16 - From USA

I want to respond to Katie and say that there is nothing the US could have done (as a whole country) to deserve this. You also must remember that the culture of the people that attacked the US is just that... they are a culture of war, and, a culture which is taught from little on to hate Americans. I think it is awful that we have put up this this mentality for this long. They are a mean and angry culture that doesn't even care about the lives of the people in their own country. They need to be dealt with the way they have dealt with us! - Bridget - Age: 15 - From USA

This situation that is evolving in America is an act of Terrorism as we all know, but the lead up to it was all the governments fault. No matter who did it must've have had a passion against hating all americans. Clearly i understand what is happening right now, and some of them, the people in the middle east are celebrating. That is clearly unacceptable, because the people that died aren't americans, aren't african americans, mexicans or evern australians as what i am.They are all human beings, all innocent human beings. I think that a lot of questions have to be answered in all aspects of the tradegy. Clearly i think who ever it was who did this, is going to pay big time as you all know that americans are going to retaliate. Hopefully the break of nuclear weapons WILL NOT HAPPEN. Anyway, all i can say is that if world peace does not HAPPEN, then i guess we'll probably be experiencing this in the near future which of course who knows what and where it will happen next.
I feel deep sorrow and pain for those who died and i pray for them that not revenge will be taken, but those caught will, and should have justice brought up on them, not war. - Willie - Age: 15 - From AUSTRALIA

I'm glad to be able to read what some of you have to say about this, and some of you have some great insight. But seriously, stop and look and the situation. I am an American, and I appreciate the freedoms this country has given us. But I have to wonder what the US did in the Middle East to cause such a reaction. Because no matter how unjustifiable this is, there must have been something the US did over there that caused these people to get so full of rage. I'm not saying this is justified because it definately is not. I'm as hurt and shaken as the next one...but there must be something that we did that triggered such a reaction, no matter how they blew it out of proportion. We need to look at our policies and our actions in the Middle East and see what went wrong. Maybe nothing did, but I think something happened to cause this, and we as a nation need to find out what and try to fix it. We shouldn't go to war, because then we are stooping to the terrorists' level. Once we find out who did this, it should go before the UN as to how to deal with the terrorists. We set up a system of justice for a reason, now let's put it to use.
I think this nation has been rocked off its foundation, which started on God. We as a nation no longer acknowledge Him. We need to start with prayer, and we need to start now. God HAS blessed America, and America has turned her back on God. - Katie - Age: 16 - From USA

I can't believe that people would do this to our country. The world trade center was a very famous place. I am just glad that some off these terroists are dead. Jillian - Jillian - Age: 9 - From USA

They should have guards and check at the airport in case there is a bad person. It's dangerous to go on a plane. Bin Laden should not try to kill the Americans. If i was a guard and i saw him i would arrest him. - Anthony - Age: 7 - From USA

I believe that when they found out 100% who it was, they should retaliate. What people need to understand that this wasn't terrorism, it was an act of war. If we were to retaliate, we need to be carful. I'm sure that country was smart enough to know we are one of the biggest, baddest nations on this planet, and that we can't be hurt, we will recover and we will make them suffer for what they did. And if they do know this, they must have got an ally country. We need to make smart moves. - Joe - Age: 15 - From USA

I think that America needs to stop thinking about retaliation and start looking at what needs to be done. If we go and retaliate and bomb some other country because they are suspected of this crime, it will just come back on us. We will be in a never ending war. We've lost too many innocent lives to war, it's time to stop. We need to view this tragedy as a wake up call. We need to continue normal life, they want us to quit, and we as Americans are family and we need to stick together and get through this. Never give up hope! Mandy Shelton - Mandy - Age: 16 - From USA

I think that we should come to an agreement with the the world. Kind of like world peace but I know that won't happen no matter how hard we try. So we should come together as a nation and show them that no matter how hard they hurt us justice will always prevail. We should do what we have been doing for years try to keep the peace but also I think there should be more security in airports. Yet this can't really be prevented because it can happen at any time so everybody needs to keep up their good work.God Bless You and goodbye. - Christina - Age: 12 - From USA

Dear Kidscom,
Whatever we do to "get back" at these terrorist attacks, i dont think that it should be any bombing or anything. What would that say about us. The whole country is upset because all of these innocent people have died. It would just make us hipporits if we decided to bomb anywhere. And if we did, (i know that this sounds really corny, and all of my friends laughed when i told them, but) we should either bomb a place with no people, or kindly ask everyone to leave the building before we bomb them... No more bombs or planes or buildings, ok?
Another thing that is bothering me, what are we supposed to do to help all these people. I feel like a lazy bum, just watching the news. You have to be 18 or over to donate blood. What is a PA girl supposed to do? - Mallory - Age: 14 - From USA

Someone had told me that he hopes everyone in america should burn in hell. Then i got a e-mail saying that there was a bomb in the state of washington but did not say were it was. I think that the president should send a nuke over to the country that did this with a good bye note on it. I don't want to get into any of this stuff but i have to tell someone. i'm sure if my grand daddy would be proud of me for telling yall what i got on my e-mail if he was still alive right now. I have feeling's for the victim's family's. I hope the USA does something about what had happened to the United States of America. - Tyson - Age: 15 - From USA

Well I don't think there can be much done, then to go out and figure out who was stupid enough to make many people upset! When we do find out then i think we should get back out them becuase we lost many lifes and if we don't do anything about it then they know they won there battle and mad us Americans upset and i don't think that is right! Here is my opinion thanks for taking your time to let me say what i think :) ~~NIcole~~ - Nicole - Age: 13 - From USA

I am outraged with the country who did all this stuff. I think people affected a lot by this must be helped And the people who did this must be caught and punished. - Nikhita - Age: 10 - From INDIA

I WISH EVERYONE WOULD JUST STOP AND THINK! We are ALREADY at the verge of war wether you like it or not. It might not be a very big war but it is a war. I've lived through 5 wars in My generation, not very big ones but wars all the same, and i think that thats 5 to many! I dont' think we should fight back or attack any other country i think we ARE better than that! If we attack where does that put us? RIGHT WITH THE TERRORISTS! its like we are fighting Fire with Fire! IT DOESN"T WORK! I love the USA its the greatest place to live EVER i mena think about it Any other place you either are living in Poverty or in polution or Have Democracy where if someone tells you to go jump off a cliff you have to or else they will kill you anyways. We ARE the leading country i think. Japan is up there with us on technology but they don't use it! We put it to use!!!!!
THANK YOU SOO MUCH I NEED THAT AND I"M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN WHERE AT LEAST I KNOW I"M FREE! SO I WILL GLADY STAND UP! AND DO ANYTHING TO HELP! GOD BLESS THE USA! - Kaitlyn - Age: 14 - From USA

I think we where asking for it because we keep attacking them, telling them what to do. And continue to do air strikes on them. we should mine our own busniess, defending our own country. But we keep nosing into othr nations. What they did is very sick thou and should pay. But we should remember that everytime we bomb thier country or push them with our wepons. They will allways want to hurt us everyway they can. Because they are angry with us. I wish everyone leaves everyone alone. I'm sorry this had to happened. We better be careful what we do in the future, and beware what actions our actions can bring. - Tom - Age: 14 - From USA

I think there should be more severe security checks at the border and before they even get in the airport. Outside of the airport they should have security and once they get inside another one. Also they should have security on the plane. and any object that you think could be used to kill someone should not be allowed on the plane. I heard a rumor I'm not sure if its true but if the sharp object is 4 inches or smaller it is be allowed on the plane. Like the terrorists using box knives to kill people though should have not been allowed on the plane. They should also before they let the person get a plane ticket they should run a background check on them before you let them on the plane. It just makes me sick that that people would do that to others. I hope that they find out who did it and get him back and also the people who harbor him. They should not attack a country because they don't have some the the same beliefs as you that's just wrong. And another thing this is not Osama Ben Laden's first time to try and blow up the world Trade center in New York he planted a bomb in the basement of the trade center but it didn't blow up the building. But Ii think any guy who bases there relgion on HATING the USA is a total and complete psycho and he should be punished!
I also cant imagine how the family mmembers of the victims who died feel. I send my remorse to anyone who had someone they loved killed or injured and to New York and Washington DC. Pray for our country's people and its leaders. - Kasey - Age: 13 - From USA

hello my name is Ashley.I am very hurt by what has happend. It is so hard to belive.I wish I was older so that I could donate some blood.I think that our government needs to have a better defense system. It should be manditory that on every plane there should be a hidden cameras so they can record everything that goes on.This could be effective for witnessing possible suspects. We need to all keep our heads high and to not show those cruel, pychos in the middle east that were scared.I really hope there wont be a WWlll.I would like to see things change in our government. Let us all keep on praying for the survivors and the family members. GOD BLESS AMERICA !!! I quote what president G.Bush said last night"Though I Walk Through The Valley Of Death I Fear No EVIL" ,that was very touching. **!USA-4EVER!** - Ashley - Age: 14 - From USA

I am trully outraged, and disgusted.I think that all the airports should start cracking down on the security because they get away with so much.I think that devistating tragedys like what has happend could have been partialy prevented by doing this.It was perfectly stated yesterday that security survalince employees would be working at a fast food place flipping hamburgers if they were not working there. This is an important issue we need to work on. - Ashley - Age: 14 - From USA

I don't understand why they would do this to kids like us. all the beautiful buildings they crushed and all the beautiful people they kill.JUST TO GET BAD ATTENTION!!! THEY KILL THEM SELVES JUST TO KILL OUTHER PEOPLE!i saw them cheering on tv. Im sorry, for every body! ): EXCEPT THEM!! - Emily - Age: 11 - From USA

i think there should of been better sectrity.maybe people should have pilots in digises to hid and if that ever happiness again and they kill the ploits their are more on board incase. - Allison - Age: 10 - From USA

I think that to stop all this terrorist attacks is to just try to keep americans quiet about because if they don't be quiet then the terrorist will be feeding off all the attention and will keep on if they get more attenion! So americans I know it is sad :*( but if we just keep our cool and be quiet then they will stop!!!! :)!!! Love ya! - Courtney - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that everyone in the world should be friends! I mean why would somebody destroy a piece of treasure? It's justin wrong! Ever since this happend my life wasn't the same! It will never be the same... - Mike - Age: 10 - From USA

i think it is terrible . i feal very bad for the people who suffered such pain espeaciolly for the jews because i am jewish. get well soon. - Michoel - Age: 10 - From CANADA

This could start World warIII. just imagane what would be like to be living through a war? I dont know about you but I am going to write
to churches and ask them to pray to pray about this terable disaster and I hope you pray. I think they should have security on the plaines and were regular close so the can take care of plaine hi-jackers.this is the one of the worst things that had happend in my live besides Timithy Mcveigh. One of these days there wont be any one left in the U.S.A there will be to many bomers, muders, and hi-jackers.It's so sad what has happend.50,000 some people died im one of those boys who has feelings for this. It's just not right.I have seen misserble things but not as bad as this. I watched it over and over what kind of peson is he or her I imagene a male did it but who knows.God bless america god bless all of us including the hi-jacker to tern him self in.{AMEN}With love - Luke - Age: 12 - From USA

I think that kids and major things and olso grown ups should all watchout for things. And those people should not go throw thing as horible as this. Sorry to all the familys that lost a family member. But i think freedom has not died. And everyone should be safe and feel safe. - Desiree - Age: 12 - From USA

We should have more sercurity. And the poeple who take care of the airplanes when some one or thing looks or sound strang they should check it out any way to make sure something like this does not happen again.I feel sorry for the familys who had to go though that and i will try to do every thing i can to help them.GOD BLESS THE U.S.A. - Karen - Age: 12 - From USA

I think we should give a strong and firm warning to them and I think we should get the guy who has be causing all this trouble and take him to trial. We should also keep gaurds on the planes, trains and anything else that can transport people from other countrys.I think I have given my share to the list that kids have put all there feelings into. Thanks for listening. - Michaela - Age: 12 - From USA

what happened yesterday is disgusting.and i would wish to say to the president of america not to wage war please don't You will get australia into it Because i live in australia i am worried .I don't want you to make it worse please don't put us in danger. - Krystle - Age: 12 - From MALTA

I think they are acting like imature little kids who just want to be rude for no aparent reason. TO THE AMERICAN ARMY MEN I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!!!!!!! - Heather - Age: 12 - From USA

have more police out watching people leave and come and have more security at the airports like they do for international flights - Sarah - Age: 11 - From AUSTRALIA

I just think that every last thing should be checked before any passenger steps his or her feet on an air craft. I will always remember the day it happened and what i was doing when I heard the news. I couldn't belive it nothing like this ever happens to us here in the US I could understand if it was another country but us no way!!! I think that President Bush should put a big gigantic punishment on the person resonsible! Why would someone want to do something so dirty? Why I ask WHY???? i think that who ever is over this should be hunted down and be treated like us Americans were that day in HISTORY! I pray that this will never happen again! I wih that all those in NY were still here with us and I wish they all didn't have to face that even the survivers. Thats my words of what I think!!! - Allison - Age: 11 - From USA

people should fight back.
- Sarah - Age: 11 - From AUSTRALIA

Well i think that they should ask them why they are bombing the twin tower and the pentagon. I would say whats your problem and what do what. Is it that you want us to feel the same pain you could have felt in your country you live in. - Heather - Age: 12 - From USA

I think we should not fight back and then we can maybe get together!! I mean, we can't change our goverment law just because of them, right!!
- RyRy - Age: 11 - From USA

I Think That The President should try to find out who's doing this and punish them - Jennifer - Age: 15 - From USA

Hello!!!! Did anyone watch the news today? They already arrested 2 people! At least that's what I heard. I had a close friend that was in the Pentagon. No one has heard from him yet! So if everyone who reads this, can you please pray fro my friend and everyone else that was in the 4 planes, World Trade Tower 1,2, and 7! Also at the Pentagon. And you can't forget all the firemen and police men that risked their lives to help others. I don't live far from the Pentagon, when I heard about the 4 hiijacked planes, I was really scared. I also want everyone to pray for all the doctors and firemen who are looking around in the Debris. And I want to thank all the nurses, doctors, and surgeons who were on a 24 hour stand by! Thank you! - Amanda - Age: 11 - From USA

I hope that everything will soon stop and whoever did this will be found. - Lori - Age: 11 - From USA

Theres a time for love and a time for hate, which is not a bad word. Youv'e got to hate injustice, terrorism. Youv'e got to burn it out. After seeing the Palestinians celebrating with great joy over our deaths today, I believe that it is time to smash arab terror wherever it is. Terror against terror. - Jim - Age: 16 - From USA

Keep bombs and stuff from being sold! My message
I will stand for my country
Together we'll stand forever!
United we will stand Divided we'll Fall
Praise the Lord President bush did not die! I loved every person in Usa
I LOVE THE USA! FOREVER I"LL LOVE IT FOREVER I"LL STAND
THE TERRISTS ARE MEESIN WITH THE WRONG COUNRTY - Brittany - Age: 11 - From USA

I just hope that guy from afganistan is caugth and thrown directly into jail. - Mike - Age: 10 - From CANADA

we watched it on t.v all day in school. i think of all those kids who lost at least 1 parent of that and all those killed firefighters. the thing that happened to the firefighters really scares me cuz my dad's a firefighter. the prez thinks it's afaghanistan that's hiding the terrorists - Mandy - Age: 13 - From USA

i think that there should be security gaurds on the plane that look like normal people but they have guns hidden so that if some one trys to high jack a plane they can stop them. Also when the person knew they went off course they should have got in touch with some one that could have done some thing about it. If that dose not help then they should check out EVERY bag before it goes on the plane if it is the piolate the security gaurd should stop them and take over the controlls - Lori - Age: 13 - From USA

First of all, I send my wishes and condolences to my neighbours down south. That's right, I'm from Canada. Earlier today I heard it was a rumour that they might have used the Canadian/US border to cross over. It is just wrong for all these innocent people to die over something that another Foreign country thinks is a wrong doing, in their opinion. One of the suspects could be Osama Bin Laden, one of the richest people in the world. It is horrible for American terrorists to kill one of their own for the money. And even 200 firemen and policemen lost THEIR lives trying to save OTHER'S. It is just not fair and not the mature way to handle things. And think about it, what if you had a relative in one of those WTC buildings, or in the Pentagon. It's not right. I think what they were really aiming for, was the White House. It's the main important building of America. Osama Bin Laden wants what he wants, so he did this again, when the last time he didn't succeed. I just wanted to burst in tears, and it was so terrible and horrifying, so scary. Imagine a big, beautiful city, New York City, Manhattan, ruined because of this. They showed the before and after pictures, and it was so disastrous when the WTC was destroyed. It was no more. But look at NYC, they're all doing their best, supporting and donating blood. Such good people. I think my neighbours down South will put this behind them, but will certainly not forget this. I mean war, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing. It is sure not the mature way to handle things. - Michelle - Age: 12 - From CANADA

Hello, I realize that I am not quite an adult but I am also old enough to understand that what happened yesterday wasn't cool and it wasn't by accident. I don't think that it is our fault totally, the President is doing as much as he possibly can to help us. But, I also think that we can do more than complain about it happening, it isn't like the terrorists wrote a letter telling us that they were going to run 4 planes into New York City and kill hundreds upon thousands of people. We need to do more than that, we can pray, offer support, and help those that have lost loved one's or who are injured. So for all of those people out there that are sick, worried, have lost those they are close to, or are injured, you not only have my heart, but you also have my family's and my friends, and my prayers, we love you and it will be ok. Love in Christ
- Krystine - Age: 15 - From USA

I can't see why the people who did this could be so dumb to do something like that because they'd have to fight against us. What I think we should do is that everybody should get along together. - Samantha - Age: 9 - From USA

I'm truly shocked and surprised by al of this! This is all very un-civilized and sad. They just took soo many innocent peoples lives. I'm sure that there was many children on those planes that went down...and that alone is un-civilized! I think that the first and foremost important thing that we ALL must do if help the Americans cope and deal with all of this horror. We should help the wounded, and find the survivors. When this is all done adn America has come to grips enough with all of this I think that we should find whoever did this act of slaughter and show them the pain and sorrow it has caused not only the Americans, but all of it's surrounding adn allied countries. We then will make them pay for these horrific acts. Our Priminister Cretien has already offered our help with all of this, but I myself say that Canada will do anything, make sacrafices, to help our allied friends the Americans, because they are truly loyal friends to all of us Canadians adn would do the same for us. I give all my prayers adn feelings to all the people affected by this horrific scene. They will not go un-punished for all this pain and sorrow. - Lindsay - Age: 13 - From CANADA

I was about to cry when I came home from school and watched the news!
IT IS SO SAD!!!! Some people think it is Pearl Harbor2. I am from Missouri and even though New York and Washington D.C. are far away, right now they seam really close to MO. I just hope this doesn't start
World War 3!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA! - Katy - Age: 9 - From USA

I think what happened to the states is awfull.I hope It dosn't start world war 3!I think when they find out who hijacked the planes they should keep it secret so americans don't go and drop an atomic bomb or somethin on whatever country the're from. That would be horrible. - Kayleigh - Age: 10 - From CANADA

Americans out there! if there is a war, then it isn't going 2 be here in pa.why u ask? because they usually go into big citys like LA.DO U KNOW EVEN WHAT HAPPEND YESTERDAY????? - Dustin - Age: 9 - From USA

This is so tereble. Over 1,000 people died - Luke - Age: 9 - From USA

I think we should pray to god and ask him for our help! thats what I did today when our school had a bomb threat. We also be very thanful
for our president for doing the best that he can to help us! - Olivia - Age: 9 - From USA

I think that what happended to the US is really bad. I can't belive someone would actually do that! I think that when they find out who did it,they should think of ways they could resolve this, but if they can't-even if it starts and never stops-they should get even with them! I think it probably was the palastenians because they were happy it happened and we dancing in their streets, then we should get revenge. I know that i don't live in the States but i still think they should get revenge. We all are in danger of getting bombed or anything like that happening to us. I definatly want this to be over with and no more bombings or wars, but I think it will be the start of something...Who knows...Maybe it will be World War 3! I think it's really scary, but we still have to resolve this-even if it comes to war! - Julia - Age: 12 - From CANADA

Well we need to find out who did this and just punish them because it will not stop!! in less WE STOP IT none of those people should had to die over this those plane should not had been wadted those plane cost all of us billon of dollors and that NO I MEAN NO Forner should be in here this is the USA UNITED STATE OF AMERICA it for AMERICEND are family member fhott for this counrty Think I said eought for now - Rob - Age: 15 - From USA

I think theY should keep a big eye if this ever happens!! Who ever did this they will pay because those towers shouldn't have went down!! Even though im in Canada i feel very sad about what happened and when i went to school nothing happened until 7 or 8 but i don't remember and when my whole class and me finished Science my teacher told us that the twin towers got hit by 2 planes i was so supprised!!! Then after she told us that the other 3 planes crashed somewhere else i thaught they were coming here but she told us it went down in 3 other places!!! Also, i was worried about my aunt that lived there in Downtown Manhatten but then she e-mail me!!!! I HOPE THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!! - Samantha - Age: 11 - From CANADA

I think it was wrong for the people to do this.I mean all of those people didn't deserve to die.Nobody does. It's just terrible!Trust me if I wasn't a little 12-year-old kid I would definitely have something to say to the creeps that did this. Alot of my friends have relatives that live in New York and Washington and my friends are very important to me.They are some of the most important people in my life. And if my friends' relatives got hurt then am going to be really mad. It isn't fair that some-1 had to do this. Just because some-1 does something to some-1 else, it doesn't mean that some-1 has to get killed for it! If thousands of people got killed every time there was an arguement then there would be no-1 left on earth. It is crazy and wrong. Even the people that hijacked the planes got killed! They didn't care. Whoever did this was smart enough and crazy enough to pull it off. I think that people should just make up. War is a terrible thing and we should go into it. If war does start it will be Worls War 3! Can you imagine living through WW3? It will be awful! Even more people would be killed! America wasn't prepared for this. I think all of this should stop. I hate it! That's my opinion. - Brooke - Age: 12 - From USA

hi i think that if the bristish and usa go to war some of them might kill people who were not involed in this and earlier they found a car with how to flight a plane set up! so what are we the people suppose to do ? its not the worlds leaders choice to sort it out i think its everyone in usa and england other countrys as well

I think the president shouldn't had called them faceless cowards
and our nation shouldn't have told the whole nation where our planes and ships were and people should check all bags - Whitney - Age: 11 - From USA

I send my prayers and wishes that this nightmare will soon end, and that we stand tall and find out who is doing these horrid things! We will fight to the end until we have won! I send my dearest hopes that you all in the United States are now safe, and that I hope you read my support and know that I care. - Maegan - Age: 12 - From CANADA

Hi- Yesterday when I found out what happened it just didn't sink in until I was lying in bed that night. Today I read the paper, watched the news, and checked out websites about the tragedy. It just doesn't make sense and wasn't fair to anyone. Now it feels like the whole world is falling apart. I'm afraid a war will start. I think that everyone should calm down, take a minute, and try to rebuild everything (not literally). We have to be settled before making any big desicions. I think that as soon as we do that, we'll learn that this will make North Americans stronger, and it's no major crisis if we don't panic. - Hannah - Age: 11 - From CANADA

I THINK THAT SOMEONE AT ONE OF THE AIRPORTS WAS HELPING THESE TERRORISTS BECAUSE HOW THEY HAVE GOOTEN THROUGH WITH WEAPONS?I PRAYED LAST NIGHT FOR ALL THE PEOPLE TTHAT DIED ITS JUST A VERY VERY SAD THING THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY THEY ARE OBVIOSLY JUST THREATEND BY US BUT GOD IS UP THERE HELPING US RIGHT NOW AND HE ALWAYS WILL BE SO I HOPE EVERYONE PRAYS FOR THE BEST. GOD BLESS AMERICA AMEN. - Morgan - Age: 12 - From USA

I think the military should be on "High Alert" all the time to stop these things from happening. I think they should always be watching out for suspicious planes and other aircrafts. This has been like the worst Terrorist attack ever in the United States. I live in the Lehigh Valley, PA...and we were like surrounded by all this. I think the Military should have security like this all the time. - Colin - Age: 11 - From USA

I am the mother of a 6 yr. old and a 9 yr. old.....passing through this site to get some in sight as to how other younger children feel, perhaps I, as an adult, can take some feedback from this sight to my children as a support system for them. It is such an overwhelming feeling reading the responses on this and other sights on the web at this time of sorrow, especially from the children of the world, "OUR world...."THEIR" future......GOD BLESS AMERICA! And my prayers go out to all. ~Amen~ From a concerned parent in the USA - Rene - Age: 6 - From USA

horrible! pethetic! now our grandparents lived though a war are we going to have to too? i know this will make the new history booksas abig day since pearlharbor

THANX I HAD TO GET THAT OUT - Ashley - Age: 11 - From USA

I THINK ITS STUPID TO WONDER WHICH GROUP OF TERRORISTS DID THIS OF CORSE IT WAS BIN LADIN HE TRIED TO DO IT ONCE BEFORE. WE SHOULD STAND UP AND FIRE A BOMBS AND ALL THAT GOOD STUFF TO TELL THE WORD NO MORE!!! WE CANT GO ON LETTING THE WORLDS TERRORISTS BLOW UP (OR CRASH INTO ON THIS OCCASION) OUR MONUMENTS,FINANCIAL BUILDINGS,OR GOVT.BUILDINGS.

MOST OF ALL WE SHOULD PRAY. NUKE EM!!! - JEREMY - Age: 12 - From USA

i think the goverment should try and do something - Cherise - Age: 10 - From UNITED KINGDOM

I think this was awful. That building was standing since 1970-2001.This was very wrong,I mean that building got hit by an airplane 3 years ago but it never fall down.I think who ever did this knew where to hit the building. And that building was a very good building,it was a train station and a mall. That building was apart of my life, also it almost killed my dad because my dad works in ny and lives in nj.That girls and boys that building was apart of my life that was my favorate building now it's all gone.that was the shortest way to get to ny now it's vanish in thin air.And do you know what the tharirest was about to go on anouther plaine and he almost killed my uncle but they caught him they caught him!Do you know what boys and girls this means war. the tarearest mest up 10 buildings who ever did this is going to pay.good luck my favorate building bye bye freedom.thank you. {cring} - Gabrielle - Age: 9 - From USA

Their is no way to stop things like this from happening its inevidable. Its like a never ending cycle, the US does something to another country ranging from bombing to getting involved with other countries crusades, the other country retaliates and then it happens all over again. If the president really want to avoid WORLD WAR III or some other war, battle etc then he should worry more about the pentagon getting up and running then getting revenge on afhganistan. - Eb - Age: 16 - From USA

there are not many words that can describ my feels of sorrow for all of the children who were without parents last night and will now be without parents for the rest of their lives. i believe that if we had better airport security and regulations this horror and tragedy could of if not been prevented but at least minimised in more than one way.if we had better intelligents this tragedy could of been totally prevented and many thousands of more people could of been with their children and loved ones this afternoon and many yearsto come .many lives were prematurly ended because of the hate within a handful of individuals, these individuals nolonger deserve to be could human beings as a matter of a fact they are even lower than animals.my one fear now is that the attacks are not over and that i may loose my parents or that myself or the rest of my generation may have to live through a war!!!!!!! i mean more people have already died than people that died in pearl harbor .this is the equvilant to a modern 21 century pearl harbir or even worse or double to a pearl harbor situation. our country has to become united and strong to get this tragedy.
:*( brooke - Brooke - Age: 12 - From USA

I think what happend is wrong for the the people who were just going to work thinking they was going home at the end of the day but, most did not. It might be anyone but who ever it is should be punished very badly. God bless the victims and there family and all the injured people. - Saqoia - Age: 13 - From USA

I am from USA.I think we shouldn't declare war, because we don't want to make trouble. - Luis - Age: 11 - From USA

Not much could of been done becuase used commercial air lines but when you think of it we cant really do much un less you stip-search every person on bord each plane or forever cease planes in the air. I have many friends that lost family in New york yesterday anf in the planes and im not even sure about my cuz, aunt, and uncle-in-law. Also i want to tell all of you to stay strong. - Dimitri - Age: 13 - From USA

I think that we all should come and live like one and stop killing each other because you are just distroying our nation and help our kids have a better future today. - Cherry -ann - Age: 13 - From BARBADOS

I really think that it was crewl what the terrorists did and these people didnt deserve to die. Its so wrong to kill people just to get back at others. The tragedy that happened in New York is very sad and it surprized everyone. All of the lives that were lost, were lost for nothing. This tragedy is horrible and even more worse than Pearl Harbor. Who ever did this to our country should be punished not only for the planes and buildings but for killing so many people. It will be hard for the peoples families to go through this. People were jumping out of windows trying to save themselves but died as they hit the bottom. When i saw the twin towers go down, my heart stopped. When i saw the people jumping out of windows, crying, screaming in pain, tears rolled down my face. People were crushed along with the buildings as one by one they went down. So many children are left without their parents and how will they grow up without them along the way. Their lives have been shattered. That is so sad. Familes were split in half. I think that this whole world needs more peace. Why do people have to be so mean. This had scared everyone and so many people are sad about it. I feel sorry for everyone who has been effected by this and everyone who has died and alot of people and me will pray for the lost lives and for their familes.Their families will eventually have to move on but it will be hard. Alot of people and workers are looking for dead or alive bodies in the demolished buildings and they have trained dogs helping them. They found some heads and bodies and alot of dead people. These people were innocent and just living their lives and they had to be killed. Its really sad. I cant believe that this happened. It is like a dream. When i saw the buildings fall it felt like a dream and i just couldnt believe it. But when i saw the people running and everything going on then i realized it was happening and its not a dream its true. The day fit 9-11. The president says "They can hit us, but they cant knock us down". That is true. This event is so sad and so many people wish that it had never happened. None of us will ever forget this day.
- Melina - Age: 14 - From USA

I believe that.... First of all what did we do to get bombed like this. Why would they do such a thing? I mean what were they smokin' when they came up with boming the USA. The USA is the most powerful, wealthy, and lethal country on this planet!!!! I hope they catgh those people and bomb them!!! - David - Age: 12 - From CANADA

I'm very cocerned with the kids that are celebrating our loss. Please if you kids read this all we want is freedom and peace. - Mike - Age: 14 - From USA

This is the biggest thing that's ever happened. When we all grow up, this will be the day we remember most. I wish there was more we could do to help. They probably chose this day because it's 9/11 day. I bet it will be remembered as that forever. - Heather - Age: 10 - From CANADA

First of all£¬ I'd like say that I cannot believe this is happening. It is just awful. My dad was just around there Monday, and the Twin Towers were still there. 24 hours later, it was just plain smoke and trash.I think America must have done something to anger to this level- where they kill themselves to kill other people. BUT I AM NOT TAKING THE TERRORISTS' SIDES. But whatever the country is to do, I DO NOT THINK THEY SHOULD FIGHT BACK. I think the situation would be better if we don't stoop to their levels. Anyways, I do have sympathy for those victims and their family, relatives, and friends. I do wish them well. I know most you are suffering badly now, BUT IT WILL BE OVER SOON.I have my English and French teachers yesterday (Tuesday) at school looking out the windows, wondering if their husbands are well, I wish them the best, and hope they are ok.I also had my classmates and friends' parents that were working in the World Trade Center, I wish them well also. And all of them seemed so worried.
I WISH WE COULD JUST GET SOME WORLD PEACE REALLY SOON, SO PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO SUFFER. AND I WOULD HAVE LIKED IT IF PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH WOULD GET TO WORK SOON. (I MEAN WHICH PRESIDENT HAD A VACATION THAT LASTED A MONTH? ) Peace throughtout the world!!!!!!!!!! - June - Age: 12 - From USA

Brian:I think we should first try to settle the conflict over a meeting. Then if the problem isn't solved we should retaliate.

Todd:I think we should find out who did this and retaliate immediatly. By military means of action, but we don't want to start a nuculear war. - Brian&Todd - Age: 11 - From USA

Yes this is a tradgy, but we haft to remember that the Statue of LIBERTY still stands. If something ever happends it will be ok because most other countrys are behind us.

I think this was a very selfish act and it is sad that this has affected so many young people. This will forever change the lives of everyone in this country and it stolen the innocence of many children here in the states. - JIM - Age: 16 - From USA

I think that we should try every possibility before we go to WAR! - Cameron - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that those people need to be brought to justice because even if they were trying to get back at us they did not have to kill all of those inocent people. - BRITTANY - Age: 11 - From USA

I can't believe people would do such terrible things. What happened to working on having peace on Earth? I guess we still have a LONG way to go if there continues to be people like this all over the world. It sucks to think that someone did this, either purposely or half-conscious. In fact, I think there were AT LEAST 3 people involved-1 or 2 on each plane. Whoever had the idea to put thousands of people's lives at risk is absolutely sick. I am more mad than sad, but I AM sad for all those people who were the victims of a fatal plot. My parents both scheduled appointments to donate blood to the survivors,
because they couldn't the day they found out about the buildings-there was a four hour wait to donate blood. Things like that-so many people just wanting too help others-makes me happy and sad. It's like something bad has to happen before something good has to happen. Will it always be like this? - Zoe - Age: 11 - From USA

i think we should try to make peace.and of that dosnt work we fight back with all our stienth and dignaty - Alie - Age: 12 - From USA

I think is another pearl harbor, but even worse. - Chris - Age: 16 - From BAHAMAS

I am saddened by this tragedy. My mom was in Desert Storm defending our country against terrorists like this. But as she so reminds me the USA is not as safe as everyone would like to think. We are vulnerable to terrorists acts just like every other country. We have a strong military, and justice will come to those responsible. When I first heard this I was scared. Now I am just mad to think that whomever did this thinks that our country is that stupid. - Sean - Age: 12 - From USA

I think that what those people did was wrong but US has done some things wrong too. So mayby these people were trying to get back at them. I know what they did wrong and they killed lots of people and they ruind bildings but maybe they were just trying to get back at them. I'm not saying that I'm takeing there side what they did was sooooooo wrong but let's try to keep our world at peace, we dont wan't a world war three we want peace. - Ericha - Age: 10 - From CANADA

im scared the bombers are going to destroy this world. i dont want war id rather peace.ive got a very big house and im afraid that a plane might crash into us while me and my family are still in it. - Nat - Age: 15 - From USA

I think that bush should resolve this terror imediately cause the efect of this past day is devistating.I even thought my sister was hurt but she was alright. But we must be extremly careful cause the bulding of all buildings (empire state bulding)might be next - Brian - Age: 11 - From USA

i think the terrorist that did this mess should be more than punished. it was a incredibly stupid thing to do. i hope the hyjackers really no what they have done. i think they deserve every little thing they did. they have put thousands of peoples lives at risk, and also killed nearly everyone. people where that despirt when they seen the 757 jumbo jet plane heading straight for them they jumped out of a 110 story building. one man hid behind a car and it saved his life. 300 or so people trying to save the people are already dead not inclueding the people that where in the building or on the plane. 4 planes got hyjacked one was unknow. in Australia all we have heard was news just getting updated and updated. they even took the t.v programs off to keep updating us. i don't no how hard it would be living over in America but i can imagine it. babys were getting trampled on because of the smoke. i hope everyone is ok and is in safe hands now. thank-you kidscom for letting me voice my opinion. i enjoyed doing it. and all those people over in America i know it is hard right now because of losing your loved ones but soon it will be all over. thank-you.. - Vanessa - Age: 12 - From AUSTRALIA

will i think that who evere did this is trying to is so mean and they do not know what they did to the polpe that where working what they have done to us and i think that we sould find who ever did this and try to back at them because whan we are done with them they maet never do it agina and that is what i think of this whan i seen it in school on the tv/rodio i said to mysalf who would what to this god i think that who ever did this sould be punished for what the have we the usa did not need this we did noting to the and 2500-30,000 man and woman and kids where killed. man and woman where juping out of where there where because the did not what to be punished in this and i had a frined in ny the work in wtc he deid because of this - Stephanie - Age: 15 - From USA

I woke up this morrning to find that some aeroplanes had gone through the trade centre towers and the pentagon in America. I was so shocked I didn't know what to feel. I dident feel anything but it didn't really seem that it had happend. I felt disbeleif. How chould someone so silly do somthing like that. And nearly over 10,000 people died and I think that about a quater of those people that died were children just like you and me.
I pray that they will find the person or people who are responsable for this tragety and that no one else will get hurt or killed. - Hannah - Age: 11 - From AUSTRALIA

I think that the terrorists should be hunted down and punished. America should not be like this. These terrorists are pathetic. 9% out of 10% we find out who did it. Gorge w.Bush wants the country who did it to put their hand up. It's gonna be a bit harder then that cause they'll get even. Those inoncent people cought in the buildings were burning to death so they jumped out the windows to die less painfully. Those heartless terrorists know there will be no mercy.
I dont have a clue how America, let alone New York, is going to recover. Those twin buildings took 6 years, 6 YEARS! I just wish all those people that have lost loved ones never to give up. America will not lose courage. I wish them all the best,~*And good luck*~ - Alisha - Age: 10 - From AUSTRALIA

all i can say is that those terrorists are idiots and fools they deserved to die but not with killing lots of citizens of america.
remember sleek is wid u!!!! - Sleek - Age: 13 - From AUSTRALIA

I have absolutely no words for what happened. There is not a cause on this planet that is so important that so many people have to die. I'm horrified that any human being could do something like this, that their conscience would allow it. To everyone who had friends and family in the building, I weep for you. - Tori - Age: 15 - From USA

Things like these are always going to happen as long as there are un-balanced people in the world. I don't think there will ever be a definate answer to "What can be done to keep things like these from happening", there really isn't a lot you can do to keep people like this out of the United States seeing as we are an open country. I think most people are still in shock, including I. It's just not something most Americans think about, were basically insured peace by our leaders, and now we have lost that security. I do find all of these events very sad, but It is just my personal belief that this is only the beginning. My heart goes out to all the families and victims of todays tragedy. On a darker note, I am very up-set with my high-school principal and lack of communication or regard for something that is extremely important, the most important thing that has happend in my life so far to our country, Our Principal informed us that we couldn't cut into any more learning time by watching the news because quote "They are just showing the same thing over and over" This is the same man that doesn't give any regard when we lose a student, because his theory is If we don't talk about it, it won't be true. I find this utterly disgusting being an 11th grader in High School and still having censorship on something so important to our country be taken from us,and not even be allowed to be discussed. This is History, shouldn't we be learning from it so that maybe something like this doesn't repeat itself in my generation. Once all this is somewhat straightened out, maybe we should all take a closer look at what exactly our schooling is teaching us. Obviously not freedom of speech, or our rights as kids. - Tory - Age: 16 - From USA

i hate you who killed my uncle danny now i wont see him anymore. - Jimmy - Age: 11 - From USA

I think all people shouldn't do that to another country because what does it have to do with other countries how does it effet them? - Mikaela - Age: 10 - From USA

Please do something to stop, this and the mean stuf. I want to know the day of tommoro, what future will happen to all the kids.
Because all the kids are the future of tommoro. And didn't want to live in a world all mistup.
I feel so,so BAD for it, for all the persons who die and the persons who disaper. - ALIX and MAYA - Age: 10 - From USA

Why are they so foolish? Why would they blow up the pentagon? I think that the terrorists should be put in jail for the rest of their lives. - Kiel - Age: 8 - From USA

first of all iam totally gutered for all the people that died you should make sure that are none of those terrorist on the plane by checking arabs and bad people from the past - Kate - Age: 11 - From NEW ZEALAND

these bad people are really icky this makes me sad I am afraid that this could come to where i live
I will keep all the people in my prayers - Makayla - Age: 5 - From USA

I think the terrorists should chill out and if they don't they should bu punished they blowed up the popular building they are selfish jerks what they did today was really bad and they should stop being so bad the terrorists are losers - Autumn - Age: 7 - From USA

I think that it's just a waste of time.I'm asking all of the kid's and parents to talk to each other and explain to us about this sad day.Because we are scared too. - Sara - Age: 8 - From USA

These people are selfish jerks what they did today was wrong every single terrorist should be severly punished for the wrong that they have done. They killed loved ones, people are still suffering to this very moment yes it is very sad!!! children lost moms, dads, and relatives. I am pretty disgusted at the way they attacked the peoples rights. Yes we do have the right to be scared but i believe that what it takes to be safe is pray that God will protect us
KEEP PRAYING for all the families safety, and for the families that have lost loved ones in this mess. - Whitney - Age: 9 - From USA

i think this is a terrible way to get attention, what i think the president should do.is to get more military people and train them in terroriest ways. I know this is not going to STOP .Because the bible says that nation will rise up against nation and kingdom against kingdom we need to pray for all that was affected by this terrible act of violence. - Noemi - Age: 11 - From USA

Ok, i was reading the board, and i agree with a 10 yr. old boy from Canada. He says: i think that the US should mind there own business (or something close). i couldnt agree more! we can send stuff to other countries if they need it, but otherwise, we should stay out! anyway, i wrote another thinga, and it has a more detailed version of my opinion, so if u wanna know, go. thanx - Emma - Age: 12 - From USA

I can't belive this. This morning all the teachers pulled my 6th grade class in to a classroom and told us what happened. Some people walked out of there crying, cursing, I walked out wondering. Who did this? Why? What can we do? Almost all news stations are tuned to this. This is the biggest thing to happen in the US, at least in 60 years. I always thought the US had an invincable force field around us. I guess I was wrong. Did you see the headlines? "AMERICA UNDER ATTACK" "THOUSANDS DEAD" I don't want to go to sleep. I was just crying, and no, I'm not ashamed. I hope we can live thorugh this, I know the country will change, hopefully for the better. I'm glad I, and other kids, can post our opinions. Thanks you, KidsCom. - Paul - Age: 11 - From USA

I think what should happen is that the whole world should be more tolerant of eachother and try to live in peace. It is very sad what happened today in New York, Pennsalvania, and the Pentagon. This should never have happened ! There were so many innocent people that did not have to go through this. I think everyone is thinking to do the same to who ever did this but I think it will make this worse. And with violence it does not solve things. I hope the President will make a good decision. I will pray for everyone. For the USA. I really wish I knew why they did this! Why did this have to happen? - Roberto - Age: 10 - From USA

All I can say is that these people that have done this to our country have embarrassed themselves. They've hurt our buildings and people, but they have just made our country stronger. This is just bringing our country together. Wherever we live, we should be helping in any way we can! I don't know if we are going to be at war, but I do know that we will fight back at any costs!! - Katie - Age: 13 - From USA

this is bad cause the palistinian people wanna slaughter the jews cause of landsmaller than road island. And worse they attack us just cause were allies with them. my 6th hour teacher says we should attack them but theyve killed fifty thousand people so i say KILL THE TERRORISTS SO THEY WILL NOT DO BAD THINGS AND STUFF.And maybe they should not die. They should be put in jail with no tv or bed or toilet he should just go poo in the floor and sleep on the floor and only get food every three days.and water once a day. - Ryan - Age: 11 - From USA

I have two things to say. one~I TOTALY disagree with daniel from canada the US has a lot of power, they should use it.but obvously the terrists agreed with him~I guess thats why they did al the pointless things they did.If they expected to harm the US in any way they just harmed individuals which is a big deal but the US government etc.was not harmed majorly. But back to my point two~the only assurance that we will recover from this tradgedy is PRAY prayer can fix anything~ya never know jesus is supposed to came back to the earth agian could this be a warning??just think about it!~! - Kayla - Age: 13 - From USA

Ok, i am just 12, but i think that we (america) should NOT bomb back. as we are taught in class, two wrongs dont make a right. well, there u go. anyway, i aslo think that fighting back would ujst show them that they have the power to bring the worlds most powerful country (america) to their level. its just terrible. i saw on the news that the people in palistine were REJOYCING. throwing confetti and celebrating. AWFUL! anyway, i pray for everyone involved, even those who were celebrating, because they need to know what pain they have caused us and that they never should attack another country like that again. - Emma - Age: 12 - From USA

This day seems to fit it's date 9/11. I feel that how this affects me os best shown in a peom i wrote today:
everything stops, everyone's shocked
because our world, our life's been rocked.
friends, family's, Americans are dead.
"to make a point" is the reason they said.
there is no point, to death, but pain
that's what we've heard since Abel and Cain
but still the human race goes on
when can the hate in our lives be gone?
no matter how much history we read
we still commit these senseless deeds
"Learn from history's mistakes"
how many lives must this lesson take
thousands of families torn apart
while the Arabs celebrate thier destructive art
don't they see the horror they made?
how can they think that the pain will just fade?
they changed the future forever today
but what will happen i cannot say
I fear nothing more than a war
that would just make the tear count more
will my best friends get drafted to fight?
just to prove our country has might?
but all the while i'm angry too
these people need to pay for what they do
they can't get away with these murders now
we'll punish them, but now, ask how?
eye's for eye's what's said to be done
but with that we'd surely kill the innocent ones
there are no answers to the questions i pose
so i'll just pray that a good soul really knows - Debra - Age: 15 - From USA

I think that they need to find out whoever did this, and punish them severly. This is something that could have been handled a different way, but instead they resulted in killing hundreds. I am not a person that likes to see other people punished, hurt or killed, but I think whoever did this, should not be living. Sorry to whom ever I offended! and I just want to say that I am deeply sorry for all of those who losts a loved one. It is horrible to see what out world is turning to. And I hope to NEVER see something like this again in my life. Thank you for letting me voice my opinion! - Bec - Age: 15 - From USA

i want my dad to find out who did this and beat him up i dont want him to hurt my dad he works in new york - Joey - Age: 8 - From USA

I am still in shock. I never thought anything like this could happen. I grieve for those whose family members and friends were lost or injured in the bombing. They're in God's hands now, and he will take care of them, not matter what. I believe many countries are jealous of the United States. We're the most powerful country in the world. They feel threatened by us. We've gotten many threats of terrorist attacks, and we should have seen this coming and been prepared. I feel, once they lost track of the planes on radar, they should have known something was us. I believe our country can get through this,I definetely have faith in the United States that they will keep us all safe and will take action. I know they are working as hard as they can right now to figure out what happened today on September 11, 2001. I am thankful to have a country like ours, so devoted to keeping our country as safe as possible. Our country needs to come together, now more than ever, and unite as one. We must go through this together, as one country, one nation, one power, and get through this tragedy. My prayers are with the whole nation, as we go through this together. Not all of us lost loved ones, but we all feel the pain of the people that did, and our prayers are with them. Let's get through this together! God bless you all! - Allison - Age: 13 - From USA

This is a horrible thing tha happened. How a person could do something like this is beyond me. This scares me, alot. I would have never thought that this would happen. It scares me even more to think we could go to war. In this day and age, who knows what wepons would be used. I hope that the victom's families are finding comfort in the fact that they will find the people responsable. I am praying for them. Everyone, keep them in your prayers, and God bless. - Elizabeth - Age: 13 - From USA

i hate what they have done. i mean yea me and my whole 2nd period (which was women's chrous all cried and prayed). i respect and honor to those who have died in the crash the building and those who died tryin to help other people. i mean they took there lives to save others in which i am greatfull for and i believe that one day we will see them again in a far better place.i had angrywords i would say to people that did it but i'll let someone else heldle that. i was watchin it form 9:10 this morning and it was a terrible thing to sit and watch and it will be hard to get over but we can work through this. i will also try and help rise money for those who need it too. (instead of saving up for clothes i wanted to buy this is more imported and well wroth spendin it on) i love you america. god blees and love - Sabrina - Age: 14 - From USA

I think that president busch needs to get people working a little faster and harder to find out exactly who died where because they havent figured all that yet and my favorite cousin was doing some report for college and she was flying from boston to newyork but i didnt know when so that will remove alot of tension and worry from me and my whole family also the palistinians need to stop parading around like lunitics because we had major damage to a few of our states wich inturn caused alot of people to die all i can saw now is bless those who know who died in their families and i hope it all works out with everyone in a non-violent way. - Hannah - Age: 10 - From USA

I think that those people should not be doing these things to the U.S.A. Really should not be doing it to any country, it's just not right. I feel sad for those people that died and that got hurt and
for their familys and friends. - Robbie - Age: 8 - From USA

i went to school today and in class we watched cnn news.i think it is stupid for somebody to risk their life crashing an airplane.it was a cowardly thing to do.all those innocent people just either taking a vacation, working,or going to school are just doing what their doing not worrying about death and then BANG it happened.everybody was trying to save their lives either running down the stairs or jumping off a 110 story high building.i feel sorry for the innocent lives.everything is crazy people going to gas stations getting gas.people going to supermarkets.all the prices are going up.they say there will be a world war 3.i hope that wont happen.i dont want to lose any more lives.did you know that about 50'000 people died . - Lena - Age: 12 - From USA

i think that it is not right to hurt the lives of innocent lives the World Trade Center was the heart of New York but there is still a heart in New York its all the new yorkers they share their hearts with new york i feel bad for the people who lost lives i am glad i didnt loose lives it i was terrified.god will keep the people who are hounded safe and healthy and the people who did this will be punished its just sad to know who would do that. - Justina - Age: 11 - From USA

In my opinion, we can't really stop things like this from happening. In every group or bunch of people, there will always be a bad person, wanting to destroy somehting, or someone. But whoever did this to the United States, is really mean!! They think it is the middle east, and Iraq. I can't believe people would do such a thing. What were they trying to prove?? To me they proved nothing. All they proved was that, they are, really mean and cruel people. It makes me sick just to think about what they did, and who knows who they will attack next. I am hoping that President Bush, doesn't declare war on the counrty or countries that did this too the United States, because war is bad!!! In the end, I am leaving you with just one thing to think about, before you go and do something to another person, or thing that is going to end up bad, just stop and think..that what you are doing, would you like to be done to you?? THINK!!
Thanks Kidscom, for letting me type and say what I think of all this!! - Andrea - Age: 13 - From CANADA

I feel so so so bad for the people that suffered through that tragity. I mean whats the problem with those guys? Are they nuts? Why would take down the two buildings in New York and The Pentagon? I think we should just stand together and pray for God to help us and all families live in peace and have a good night sleep. - Scottie - Age: 10 - From USA

today at school everyone was talking about the plane crash.i have to say i was scared but i am ok now.i don't care about the building who should care about them.its the people who died we should care about.the familys and friends.i hate that this happened just because someone had a bad life.that don't mean go mess up thousands of different peoples lives.the person could let their madness out but not in that way.everyone is scared that there is going to be a world war 3.everyone is getting gas for cars and food the roads are packed because of this crash.i hope this never happens again. thanks for listening.bye!!!! - Nicole - Age: 12 - From USA

It is a sad time for the USA. My thought and prayers go out to all the familys who are without the loved ones they this morning. Yes we should react, but acts of violence is not the answer. We have to trust that President Bush can make a quick and right decision to make not only our county but help others feel safe wherever they go. God Bless the USA and the world!! - Kelsey - Age: 9 - From USA

I think that the palastines should stop partying. That is the worst thing somebody could do. - Jace - Age: 14 - From USA

I think that every one should open their eyes and ears. I mean if they would have done that in the 1st place we would not be like this right now. Everyone should do their part to help the places that has been hit already. The U.S government needs to talk with other places for back-up and work faster to find out who this was.But no matter what everyone needs to pray that everything will work out and that every one will make it out all right and that it doess not end up with war. - Miranda - Age: 14 - From USA

Bad people! Think how many orphans there are now? That's very sad. Bin Ladin might have done it he did it before. THAT"S SO TERRIBLE! - Emmie - Age: 12 - From USA

Why on earth would the Palistians do sutch a thing like party when we got attacked? Duh! That is rediculous. If that happened to them we wouldn't do anything like that. It was a crazy day. So if that happens to them I think we should do the oposite of what they did. If we did that to them how would they feel? - Jace - Age: 14 - From USA

I just think all Americans should lower their flags to the middle of their poles. - Jordan - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that this is one of the worst things since Pearl Harbor. I hope that after all of this after we pick up all the pices that we will regain our confidens if not all ready up. We all will get through it its a test that we wil definantly will pass. thanx :-) but also very angry >:-< - Trey - Age: 13 - From USA

I think it is wrong to make bomb threats.life is to short to make bomb treats on planes. Today many people died in two planes or in there offices,This is wrong. That's how I feel about these things in the world, like I said life is to short to make Threats. - T - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that once the people are punished, we should use power of the prayer. Not EVERYTHING can be done by the goverment. ANYTHING can be done by God. - Kayla - Age: 10 - From USA

This amy be tragic but PLEASE you need to pay respect and move on this my be satins work or gods but whatever happend was to get the point across. though we an't sure what it is yet. so get movig and find tthe TERRORIST - Britanni - Age: 12 - From USA

I'm not sure where to start...this is something that leaves me speachless. The state of Iowa is in a major state of shock. Gas prices are zooming high and leaving parents shocked on what to do next. All i really have to say is that my heart goes out to all the families that have lost someone, and I think everyone needs to take time out of their day to pray and thank God that we are not invovled in this horrible trajedy. This is something that needs to be taken seriously deep, and needs to be given alot of thought. May God bless you all, and help in finding who is at fault..Much love to all. - Ashley - Age: 14 - From USA

First of all my heary goes out to all the victims and there families who were hurt by this horrible crime. Really if you think about it what can America do that they haven't done all ready. Just try to put your self in there shoes. I just hope this ends very very soon and no more poor helpless people are hurt. But When or if America finds out who took part in this horrible crime I hope they do not need to hurt or kill helpless people of that country (if it is a different country0
because look what it has done to america. - Brittany - Age: 11 - From USA

for the hi jacker people to put them in jail for a long long time and make them pay for what they did to the people in side the towers - Richard - Age: 9 - From USA

I think that it's too late to do anything about this cause because most of the people died. But, I feel that this was a very horrible tradegy. This should NOT have happened. - Sara - Age: 11 - From USA

my perents started freaking out brcause my uncle flies 747s for american airlines. once we knew he was safe i started to think about the other people.all the people who dided diddn't do any thing to who ever did this. and how does it help the cause of whoever did that. they clapsed 3 buldings and severly damaged the pentigone. plus they killed or maimed thousands of innocant people. I was home sick today so i saw it live on tv. i was wondering what kind of idiot would fly a plane in to a bulding when the second plane hit. i was terrified. it was like i was there. i am going to send all the money i can come up with to help thoes innocent people and their famileys i hope u do to. - Taylor - Age: 13 - From USA

I think that it is terrible what happened today!!! I hope that they find out who did this. I think that there might be a war coming because they think that the terrorest group is from a different country. Today I went to church with my neighbors and we prayed for all of those who died and for the whole explosion. My mom said she is hoping on giving blood maybe tomorrow at the Red Cross!! I wanted to give blood too but you have to be 18 years or old to give blood!! I was pretty mad, but I got over it!! I really do hope that they out a stop to this! - Stacy - Age: 12 - From USA

Personally, I would like to thank all the people who are praying for us. This is a very sad moment because we have lost many loved ones. Now, USA people will think, what will happen tomorrow? Will we get hurt again? I believe what President Bush said,"This is a test to see if our country is strong." President Bush also said, "We will hunt down who ever did this, and we will punish them." And I will say that this is a sure thing we will do. I am always going to be a proud American. And, I am sorry for those who lost loved ones. - Ashley - Age: 14 - From USA

WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS? IT'S SO WRONG! THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ARE DEAD RIGHT NOW, AND EVERYBODY CAN THANK THESE TERRIBLE TERRORISTS! NOW, EVERYONE'S GOAL SHOULD BE TO SUPPORT ALL THE FAMILIES THAT ARE IN GRIEVE RIGHT NOW, AND DEFFINITLY FIND THESE TERRORISTS AND PUNISH THEM! NOW, IT FEELS LIKE HALF OF AMERICA'S PRIDE IS GONE.... - Alyssa - Age: 10 - From USA

I think they've done something very wrong. They've hurt people on purpes and someone haveing that much stupedness to do that and to celebrate after is just asking for it. They've asked for war and thats what they should get. I really think there was nothing we could do to stop it it was well plained. They must really hate us which i think is fine but why take their hate like this.thank for letting me share - Lindsey - Age: 13 - From USA

I think that the world is really messed up right now. they should find the tererists first and then make the conclusion. i definetly don't want another world war 3 because that would be really bad, and no more people have to die. but if the counrty decides to go to war, then i will support their decision. i go to ny often and i think this is just so horrible! i have family and friends there that are in danger and i hope this all just gets better. My condolences to all the families that have lost. - Nicole - Age: 13 - From USA

I think this is awfull! I mean the U.S. armies are very well constructed, becuase one of my teachers is in the national guard and he is very strong and ready. bUt there needs to be more evacuation routs for every building! - Catherine - Age: 16 - From GUAM

You should donate blood!Do any thing!Other country's r helping us,But Pakistan! In Pakistan they r having parties cause they r the one who done this to us!I think it is that rich man from Pakistan! - Stephanie - Age: 10 - From USA

my life has not been too good lately and and what has happened in the U.S has really made me reflect on my life and what i want to do with it.i think evryone should think of ways to help and stop complaining of thinking of their problems and just not pray for the people who have died but the families of the people. people need to change their ways and think positively instead of bad things on other people...things need to change in the world and if everyone just stops blaming their neighbor for their problems and stop hating people for their colour, religion beliefs or any other differences we might have,we can avoid anything like this from ever happeneing...because in the end,we are all the same colour and all end up at the same place! - Jessy - Age: 15 - From CANADA

I think that what they did was so horrible. I mean think of all those people who lost there lives and there children. It dosn't matter about the bildings to much because they can bild them agen, but it's the killing. We don't want WAR we want PEACE. - Ericha - Age: 10 - From CANADA

2day was a very bad day and i read some things people r saying bout america cause there in canada.well who this r in other country's and still care i think thats really caring - Sean - Age: 12 - From USA

First of all, I want to send my condolences to all the families and friends of the victims of this horrendous attack. May the Lord protect u all. Secondly, I think that EVERYONE should go out and donate blood as soon as they can. Do it for your fellow citizens. Also, I would like to commend everyone in the US who has put aside our differences, which may be race, religion, political status, etc.. and helped out in one way or another. I would like to say to all those who have helped at home or in New York, WAY TO GO!!!! - Alejandra - Age: 16 - From USA

Before anything else is said, I'd just like to tell everyone that prayer is the best thing you can do right now. I think that right now, more than ever, we all need to come together and help each other out. By going to war, we're being just as wrong as the people who attacked us. I was scared to come home today because I live on the Air Force Base and there are armed guards at the entrance to our housing area. The one thing that we all have to remember, no matter how many times you hear it, or how stupid it sounds, is that VIOLENCE IS NOT THE ANSWER!!!! My heart goes out to all the world. God bless all of you, may you be safe until this has all been solved. To my fellow Americans, remember our saying, IN GOD WE TRUST.
God bless. - Danielle - Age: 14 - From USA

THIS IS AN ACT OF STUPITIY.NO ONE SHOULD DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS.THIS DAY WAS...JUST NOT GOOD. I THINK THAT WHOEVER THAT WAS WAS STUPID AND HAD SOME REEEEALLY BAD PROBLEMS. THIS IS NOT THE WAY WE SHOULD DEAL WITH OUR PROBLEMS. THIS STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!>:( - Lauren - Age: 11 - From USA

i think this jelousy should stop its not right why cant everyone just get along and stop fighting from jelousy its stupid i dont want to fight back because we might start a war,but i do because the ppl deserve it and i want to get back my heart is broken because of all this and i will not just sit back and wait - Elizabeth - Age: 12 - From USA

This is outrageous. I can't believe this has happened. this is america, where we are FREE. NO ONE has the right to terrorize ANY country no matter how big, or how small, how strong, or how weak! the whole country and world is mourning right now as the others dance in celebration waving the flags of their country. I'll say it again this is outrageous and something needs to be done. The world needs to come together and fight against the terrorist group. i am praying for the family's of victims, and possibly future victims. we must get ahold of this situation before it gets out of hand. we need to come together as a WORLD and make peace a global wide concept. Do not give up hope, Keep smiling and god bless. We will get through this no matter how hard it seems to be right now. - Brittany - Age: 15 - From USA

We can only pray. - REBECCA - Age: 11 - From USA

I think everyone should just start investagating. do what you can. and be posititve. 1 of my best friends lives in New York City i havn't been able to talk to her but i pray she's alright and I think we should pray to god for all of the family's and children who died or are not safe. i also think we should find who did it. cause we don't need to have these alfull people on the earth so let's just do what we can and make a strong, brave, and free terrists country. - Alexa - Age: 10 - From USA

I was in school when this happened. I live in PA, so, it was a big thing in my school. Every TV was on in the school. At about 9:45 or so, they made us turn off the TVs.
I think that what these people are doing is wrong. What made the people who did this do what they did, only God knows. I mean, the people who were flying the planes died along with everyone else on the plane. I really think that we need to retalliate. Retalliation is a necessity at this point in time.
Well, whatever the government decides to do, I hope that they firgure out who is responsible for this tragity. May God be with all of those who had family and friends who died in this attack. Please, keep all of the people in your PRAYERS.Thank you and God Bless. - Tiffany - Age: 13 - From USA

I think that people should realize that we are being attacked in the u.s.a, and so we should try and end this, before it becomes into the third war. - Brianna - Age: 11 - From USA

I think we should fight back. This is horrible, we should donate blood and help our country get back in order. I think that this has made it even harder for kids to feel safe in schools, at home, and anywhere else. I don't think that not fighting back will help. We can't just sit around and watch our country fall apart. - Amanda - Age: 16 - From USA

i think this is very mean and this person should be put in jail!!!!!!!! - Gloria - Age: 10 - From AUSTRALIA

I THINK THAT THOSE PPL ARE DUMB!! THEY PROBABLY HATED THE WORLD AND THEIR LIFE BUT BEFORE THEY DIED THEY WANTED TO DESTROY PPL'S LIVES!! - Jenna - Age: 11 - From CANADA

I do believe it's time we as the human race should come together and find a way to stop terrorism. These people clearly have NO regard for any life including their own. But I also think we ought be careful of whom we go after, if we take out their leader we will cause renegades and rebels to come out of the woodwork. We will then have to fight singular people and/or fairly well trained militia.
But these EVIL beings that I dare not call human attacked MY country! This was a personal hit, and I think many other Americans agree with me. They didn’t go after Military, they went after innocent citizens who didn’t diverse to die! It may be a known fact that the people of the United States have a tendency to fight with each other, but when it comes down we will come together and we will fight like a band of brothers and sisters to ensure freedom for a new generation. Just like are ancestors did. - Katya - Age: 12 - From USA

I think it is all sick and wrong!! people shouldn't just go and blow up buildings taking millions of lives just to prove something or just to have fun!! God bless everyone who had someone they cared about in those buildings may god be with you!! why can't people understand that fighting and blowing up things won't help anything? it will just make it worse! Those people who did it if your still alive then you should be ashammed of yourself i am so mad! If this starts another world war then that will make me even more mad!! i can't explain how mad i am my stomach is just feeling sick and i feel like.... i dont knwo but i am mad!! - Taylor - Age: 11 - From USA

I think the WHOLE country should donate blood, hold fundraisers, do ANYTHING they can to help the wounded get better!!!! SO DO WHAT YOU CAN!!!!!! - Kimi - Age: 12 - From USA

i think that we should be thankful for what we have in canada and pray that this will not start a war / world war 3 this is now definitly going down in history i think we should just stand up and pray for the people who are still out there and have along period of silence for all the people who have relatives and also hope this issue will never happen again but it will change our lives forever and the people who lost their relatives lives and stupid terrorists who killed innocent lives for no reason makes me sick and sad i can't say anything else because i'll go on and on - Lauren - Age: 12 - From CANADA

this is such a tragedy. i cannot believe what has happened. this is so terrible. when i saw this on the news i cried. i thought they were really neat. now they are no more. it is so horrible what is going on in the world right now. i cannot believe what horrible people we have become. we are such terrible people. can you believe this. i mean we are all in danger now. there is no way that any of us will be safe ever again. - Kenzi - Age: 14 - From USA

i think we should all pull together and help them out and we should all be alert and be caeful - Phillip - Age: 14 - From CANADA

First I think Usa needs to take a chill pill because they are over reacting to this happening. They need to investigate before they make any suspicions on who the terrorist is. Then from there they should make their conclusions. I just hope that this whole thing doesnt get worse. May God be with you all during this tragic time. - Tina - Age: 13 - From USA

I think its probably IMPOSSIBLE to catch them and I wouldint want to fight back so I would probably send out guards and polices out and QUICK!!!!!!!! - Amanda - Age: 11 - From CANADA

I thought today was going to be a day just like any other
I guess I was wrong
why can't we all just get along and show each other all the cool things that we do all have
ijust hope it all ends soon - No data - Age: 13 - From CANADA

We can't stop what we don't know will happen. This is just a sad day for all. If we could stop it, I know for a fact that we would. The people who are doing this I am sure will get what they deserve. - Brenda - Age: 14 - From USA

WELL TO ME THE BUILDING DO NOT MATTER, THAT CAN ALWAYS BE RECUNSTRUCTED WHAT REALY MATTER IS THE LIFE THAT WERE LOST. I THINK THAT WE SHOULD NOT ATTACK BACK BECAUSE THAT ONLY LEADS US TO A WAR. BUT THERES A GOD ABOVE WHO IS WITNESSING EVERYTHING SOONER OR LATER THEY WILL PAY. ALL THERE IS TO DO IS PRAY AND WAIT - Claudia - Age: 13 - From USA

YOU KWNOW I DON'T THINK IS FAIR I MEAN EVEN ATT SCHOOL WE WERE WATCHING THE NEWS IGOT REALLY MAD WHEN THE MONUMENTS WENT DONE BUT WHAT REALLY GOT MAD WAS ALL THE INISENT PEOPLE THAT JUST WENT TO WORK AND THE NEXT YOU KNOW THEY HAVE TO DIE THATS JUST NOT FAIR. MY BEST FRIENDS DAD HAS TO GO TO JAPAN TODAY WE DON'T EVEN KNOW IF HE LEST HE MIGHT IN A ARMY BASE BECAUSE HE IS IN THE MARINES I JUST CAN TELL YOU THE NERVE SOME PEOPLE HAVE I MEAN THIS IS HOME OUR COUNTRY ARE EVERYTHING ICAN TELL YOU STRIAGHT OUT THAT IT'S JUST WRONG.. - Melissa - Age: 12 - From USA

I think we need to take action. The question is ... what do YOU think could be done! We need to get together and talk about things we can do to stop this from happening ever ever ever again! Come on people... let's think! - Lily - Age: 12 - From USA

If I were president I would sentence them to death! They did the biggest and number #1 tragedy in american history! They should get the worst punishement done to them! - Alice - Age: 8 - From USA

HOw could they do that to us? We are a strong country and they've just decicded to blow us up? I IS INSANE!!!!! - Arielle - Age: 9 - From USA

I feel really said for America and i think people shouldn't go out and blame Palestina because they might not have done it.I hope they catch who did it. - Anonymous - Age: 10 - From CANADA

Personally, this has impacted me greatly being that I live on Staten Island. I came home from school, flipped on the TV and bam, their it was! Two MAJOR landmarks in NYC/Manhatten GONE! That is what really kills me. I think personally that the presendent can do somthing about this and I think he will. - Trevor - Age: 12 - From USA

I don't think there is anything we could have done to stop this, but now is the time to act. I'm SO MAD! Let's just find out who did it and get over there. It's not like the US is weak,we've get TONS of weapontry! Get over there ... - Jackie - Age: 11 - From USA

This makes me so mad because all the countries should be in pease and
get along with each other thats way my teacher show us to get along to prevent violence. - JESSICA - Age: 10 - From MEXICO

I think everything is absolutely crazy, everybody is lashing out at everybody else, and once they find out who did this, violence and racism will start against the people of that country, not necessarily saying that they dont deserve it for their actions, but even though revenge is the first thing that comes to mind thats not the best solution, peace and justice needs to b found between everybody, this shouldnt cause conflict between people from opposite or different countries. Things need to be taken seriously with caution or everything will collapse and a war will begin.....My prayers are with the families and people of the US, Peace be with u - Jess - Age: 14 - From CANADA

I think the Palestinians are cowards because if they are mad whith the govornment they should take it up with them instead of killing thousands of people. I hope that they are punished soon and that our nation will pray for all those who died and those who are helping cath the terrorist wich took our friends and families from us. Most of all I wish the president luck because he is taking imediate action to take care of the phycotic people who who are corrupt enough to dance in the streets after they had done such a thing. I hope that these people will never have anything to celabrate again. - Shontih - Age: 12 - From USA

This is terrible! Whoever did this must be put to death! The Lord knows! So what if the USA is better than Palenstine, or Russia, or what have you?! They don't have to crash planes into important buildings! Why can't people get along?! I'll tell you why! They hate us! And for what reason? Just because we are free and we have government?! This is unjust! It a a terrible sin! What have we done wrong? NOTHING!!! - Jim - Age: 11 - From USA

I don't like this. If this turns to war I don't want my big brother to go. We were just trying to help them with their problems they were haveing with another contry. THIS IS HOW THEY REPAY US!? Just think of all those orphan children there are now. There parents worked there. - Bethany - Age: 11 - From USA

I think we should now protect other STATES ,countrys. To effect EXPLOCIANS. THE GOVERNORs AND PRESIDENTS SHOULD UNITE. - Cindy - Age: 9 - From USA

THIS MAKES ME SO MAD! WE DIDNT EVEN PROVOKE PALESTINA!!!!! WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS? THANK YOU CANADA AND MEXICO FOR HELPING US IF WE HAVE A WAR! GOD BLESS US ALL!!!!

- MARY - Age: 11 - From USA

I think to stop things like this from stopping, first and investigation should be done, find out who did this?, why they did this?, and then have them punished for what they did, because what they did was totally uncalled for, they killed innocent people that didn't deserve to die.....kids, grandparents, parents all innocent.
That is my thought. - JESSICA - Age: 16 - From USA

WELL WE SHOULD HAVE MAYBE SOMEBODY THATS SOMETHING LIKE ACPE ON THE PLANE OR HAVE A DOOR TO THE CAPTAIN THAT LOCKS WHEN YOU SHUT IT SO NOBODY CAN HIJECT IT . I WAS SCARD WHEN I HEARD AND MY MOM TOOK MY BROTHER AND I HOME THAT MADE ME A LITTLE MORE SCARED BUT NOW I AM PRETTY MUCH OK NOW - LAURA - Age: 10 - From USA

i dont really know what is gonna happen but i hope something good will happen. I am really scared. my dad said it is worse then pearl harbor and stuff. So i pray to God that he will help us in this thing. Thanks you and God Bless - Kristy - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that though it is horrible what is happening, but even with all the anger and everything, I think that if we pray, god will help the UN sort it out with Palestein. - Courtney - Age: 11 - From USA

I think that Daniel just doesn't get it. People are hurt and fighting by killing. it is wrong! it doesn't matter if other countries don't agree with each other. it still doesn't mean that people should kill each other. - Jesse - Age: 11 - From USA

The USA should stop interfierring with other contries buissness - Daniel - Age: 10 - From CANADA

Hi I think it is terrible and i hope they find who did it. The president said they would find them and make them pay. I can't believe they would do this. The people who did this have to have no heart because the Trade Center Towers had about 20,000 people in them. They say 4 planes could be highjacked. I just wanna blow up the people who did this. They deserve it. I hope they do find them and make them pay. - Kathryn - Age: 11 - From USA

Chris from Ireland, you are wrong my country is doing its best to hide our president from harm! You should be ashamed of yourself for saying something like that! Officals think it may be several of the terrorists that bombed the building a few years ago. My mom won't let me go to school today and she thinks Folsom Dam is another bomb site along with the Golden Gate Bridge. Also my uncle was in the building a block away from the pentagon and said that the building he was in shook so hard when the plane crashed that his building almost collapsed-inward! My uncle is currently hicht-hiking, taking taxi's, and walking as far out of Washington D.C as he can so that his wife can pick him up. I'm glad my grandfather doesn't work at the pentagon anymore, he would have been in that fire!! I am sending in a few dollars to the president to help all those hurt people and I hope you do too!!!!!!!!!!! >:-$ - Emily - Age: 10 - From USA

This is crrrraaazy. Why can't people be nice to each other? Every one should just be friends. We should have a big party instead of fighting . We should show all the other countries that we rather make friends than war. - Ricky - Age: 8 - From USA

use raidar - Benjamin - Age: 11 - From USA

We think this is so so soooooooooooooo terrible. We want peace. Whoever did this would be sent to penitentiaries for doing this if they were still alive. If they think we deserved this, even if we did do something bad to them, they should think before they act and why would they think that their country would get POWER for all this? It might scare people, but who would give them anything for all this?
We can't even Describe how bad this is. PEACE! - Heather and Ericha - Age: 10 - From CANADA

I think it is really horrible thing to do and that we should just pay attention to all of the countries because after all it's our planet
why should it be spoild by selfish people? - Laura - Age: 9 - From UNITED KINGDOM

THEY'RE COWARDS. IT TAKES A GUTLESS MAN TO EVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS. I WROTE A 18 PAGE PAPER ON THIS JUST AN HOUR AGO AND IT IS MEANINGFUL AND I AM GOING TO WRITE THE PRESIDNET ABOUT THIS FOR HIM TO TAKE ADHESIVE ACTION - James - Age: 11 - From USA

Come on,let us all join together and pray god to save U.S.A.Those Afghanistani terorists have no right to demolish anybody's property.Let there celebrations come to an end in a few secs. - Revathi - Age: 10 - From INDIA

I think it is sooo horrible, sooo stupid and just plain spoilt!!!They are acting like children!!!!
I don't think the America's should make an attack back, because then we might even have a war. Tonight I am going to pray that are no more attacks, and pray that America can sleep safely today.
I saw the Arab's laughing at this massacre! I think they are disgusting doing this. Please, America's, be allright. - Jenny - Age: 10 - From UNITED KINGDOM

I think they have problems. I think we should pray for our country.
Thank you Jesus for saving our country!
- Danielle - Age: 10 - From USA

I think they have problems.I think we should pray for are country.

- Danielle - Age: 10 - From CANADA

We should take action and find out who did this to out country. We haevn't done anything to these so called terrorists and they attack the pentagon. I got scared and came home from school and I was listening to the news and if i was president I would take action and be on my way to take care of this. >:() - Chris - Age: 13 - From IRELAND

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! TERRORISTS HAVE NO RIGHT TO THIS. JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE AGAINST A CERTAIN COUNTY NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO ATTACK THAT COUNTRY,HIJACK PLANES ANA CAUSE HAVOC AND TERROR.THEY HAVE TAKEN HUNDREDS OF LIFE BY DOING SUCH A SPITEFUL AND DECITEFUL. PEOPLE WHO WERE INVOLED IN THESE ATTACKS SHOULD BE CAUGHT AND PUNISHED . - Nikhita - Age: 10 - From INDIA

Let's try to help all the people and families that are affected directly by this attack. - Jenny - Age: 13 - From CANADA

I think everyone in the world should get up right now and hold hands! We should form a big hand holding event across the whole wide world! - Tonie - Age: 12 - From USA

Why do they do this...it's so wrong! This won't make people think what the terrorists want to think this just makes us hate them. - Jeff - Age: 10 - From USA
