Materials:

  • Friendly plastic, two colors
  • Hole puncher
  • Scissors
  • 5 sequins, one each of the Olympic colors—red, blue, yellow, black and green
  • Pencil
  • Fabric paint
  • 24 inches of 1/4 inch ribbon

Directions:

Draw and cut a 1 1/2 inch circle from one color of friendly plastic. Punch a hole in plastic about 1/2 inch from the circle's edge. Cut three small strips from second color of friendly plastic. Place circle on a cookie sheet. Place plastic strips on circle. Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, then bake friendly plastic until plastic melts (about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes). Let cool. Put five dots of fabric paint on circle, then push sequins down on paint. Let paint dry. Put ribbon through hole and tie ends.
