Bev Jaremko is a mother of four and a long-time teacher. She prepared materials for her own children to learn reading and math before school, and while they were in school supplemented their learning with history, science, medicine and law. All four children are now in post-secondary. Once the children were in school, she discussed her methods on national radio and offered them to neighbors' kids, preschools and parents across the country. Her method is entitled 'Anchors and Sails' with the slogan "We give children anchors of love and affection. We give them sails when we teach them to read."
