I actually had a different problem when I was younger. I played on a girl's basketball team. The coach was one of the girl's father and allowed more playtime for his daughter and her friends. It annoyed me and I stopped after a year. I think especially at a younger age you want to teach your kids fundamentals, social skills, and healthy activities not necessary about winning all the time. Although our team lost every single game it wasn't fair for the girls who always sat on bench and never had time to play.

With my kids I want to be sure that they are getting play time. I felt that way once as a child and I don't want my child to feel the same. I think that all of the kids should have ample playing time.
